Gauge was more than 30 pounds out of calibration..used hose and fittings to repair my old one..Still good enough deal with using as parts

Worked for my needs and fit well and repeated measrurments as many times as what was neccesary.

Good tester but will not work on small engine.

Great product and a must have for anybody who does their own engine repair work. Fast and easy to use save me from making a bad purchase on two separate occasions.

This product has the right idea, ill give it that. But I used this on a stihl bg55 blower i was having issues with, decided to check the compression with this tool, it showed less than 20psi. I figured the piston rings were bad so I tore the motor apart. Come to find out the tester just sucks. I used it on another engine im working on, which has good compression just by feel, but I wanted to test the tool to see if it was a fluke. That second tool with the spark plug in, has good compression, hook up the tester, and the piston seems to spin a lot more freely and once again only shows about 20psi. So something is leaking on the tester somewhere, and I saw some other buyers claimed the same thing. Don't waste your money on this tester. Im going to purchase the mityvac compression tester here soon as it's build quality seems a lot better. Saw a comparison video between the two and the mityvac has Schrader valve in the line, to keep the pressure in the gauge helping to give a more accurate reading.

Not for small engines, no schrader valve in hose connectors.

When purchasing an automotive project, one of the first things I do is to take a compression test to determine the condition of the motor. This tester comes with all the needed attachments and is easy to use! It also comes in a nice case for storage! A great price too! Big Rudy

Received a used product, there was a handwritten cursive note inside the plastic case from the last gentleman that ordered the same pressure tester I received. Very disappointed that i ordered a "new" product and received a used return from a previous person that ordered this brand and returned it due to the readings on the guage being incirate.

works as it should other than reading low but as long as you check for consistency between cylinders instead of expecting it to be perfect it'll give the info you need
