ProCase Flip Cover for Nintendo Switch Case with 2 Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protectors, Detachable Front Cover Protective Case for Nintendo Switch 2017 -Black

This is perhaps the slimmest full-cover Switch case that I've run across. It is very similar in concept and build to the Nintendo Flip Cover for the Switch Lite, but it does have a couple of advantages over that case. First, it fits the full Switch almost perfectly, and consists of two parts: The flexible TPU main case portion, which covers the back and sides of the Switch, and has cutouts perfectly aligned to allow you access to all of the Switch buttons, game cart cover, vent openings, and USB-C port (essentially the same as you would find with a typical smartphone case); then there is the flip cover portion, which feels a lot like the material used to make the Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover, but with a big difference - it is connected magnetically, so it is easily removable, kind of like the iPad smart cover. The case itself is generally easy to remove, but it is a bit stiff so it's not as easy to remove as a silicon case, but it's doable. There are only three disadvantages that I see with this case: The most critical is that you can't use the Nintendo Dock with the case on. You can overcome this hurdle by purchasing a dock extender, which allows you to use the dock by plugging in the extender cable into the Switch while it is in this case. The second disadvantage is that the flip cover, while it connects magnetically to the back and is generally strong enough, doesn't latch strongly to the front. It latches just enough, but you should be aware that if you drop the Switch while in this case, there is a chance that the flip cover will open and the Switch could incur damage if it lands on its face (although the back portion of the case seems strong enough to withstand occasional knocks and probably a small, non-catastrophic fall). The third disadvantage is that, if you frequently play games like Ring Fit Adventure, or Fitness Boxing, or any other games that require the Joy-Cons to be detached, you're going to have to wrangle your Switch out of the back portion of the case; doable, but if you're doing it frequently, it's another step you're going to need to take, and that might get annoying depending upon your frequency of that usage profile. As others have pointed out, the screen protectors that come with this case are too small. I already had good screen protectors, so I'm reviewing this case purely on the case's merits, but be aware that you might as well spend a bit more money to get some decent tempered glass screen protectors and ignore the ones that come with this case, because they are not adequate. Overall, this is a perfect case for everyday use of the Switch. For fuller, more intensive travel protection, one of those larger zippered cases is a better option, but this case is fantastic for when you're just around the house; you can just pick up your Switch, flip the cover (or pull it off), and get going. And when you're done, just flip the cover back over. And it slips in a bag easily enough, just make sure you've latched it well so the cover doesn't come open in your bag. I would say this is the most convenient, everyday case that is out there right now, and coupled with a dock extender, you really can't go wrong.

Best damn clam shell protector, I whish this company made one for my Switch 2. It had a good grip, would protect every drop, and also the joysticks. I'd take the top off on flights and just play it with it on, the grip felt great on my hands compared to the flat joycons without it. I'd put the front op back on, shove it in my bag and get out of my flight. Without this the joycon rubber would come off in my bag exposing the metal, despite having a cover for the entire switch this is the only slim cover that protects joycons that I don't have to remove completely to play.

This is the best Nintendo Switch low profile case/grip ever made. The tpu plastic is just soft enough not to scratch your switch when putting it on, although if you use this, its going to become a pain to put it on and take it off for docking. I use this as a permanent switch with this case and my other switch for docking. This case makes taking your switch on the go a lot easier and no worries about hurting your switch while you're out. the zl and zr buttons are exposed but if you are careful like me, this isn't a problem and I definitely prefer to have the normal zl zr buttons and not some kind of covering on the buttons. Also worth mentioning, you can use the cover as a kickstand and the magnet will hold. I see complaints about the magnet strength but I think its just right. You want to be able to take it apart easily while it can still hold just fine on its own. The guy in the video above is shaking it super hard and its just ridiculous. The magnet is just fine while playing like you normally would in handheld mode. They could have left out the screen protector and charged 5 dollars more and I still would have got it. I immediately purchased another too just because its so good.

This case is awesome! A lot of nice things going for it here. -It's got a premium textured feel to the back that feels nice in your hand. The grip texture is nice to hold for extended play, and the exterior cover material feels durable; everything is easy to clean. The Switch feels very sturdy when in the case and fits perfectly. -The material on the inside of the cover feels like a soft canvas material that doesn't slam onto the screen when closing. - Ports are open to wired charging, but not meant to put in dock. Cartridge is accessible as well as all the top buttons. The Switch can still properly vent and shouldn't overheat and the audio isn't muffled since the case accounts for those openings. Its easy to put the Switch in, but a little tricky to get out without a little force. If you're on the move a lot (I play a lot when commuting on the subway), that shouldn't be a problem. - The cover IS removable, which is a nice feature, and is secured by a magnet. My only gripe is the magnet isn't as strong as I would hope BUT, for what you pay, it's still very solid all around. Not reviewing the screen protector since I already have one in place.

Amazingly slim and easy to install. I found this when looking for something to protect the joysticks while in my bag without having to carry it in a bulky protective case all the time especially when I have a bag with somewhat liminal space. This fits right over the entire switch with the only bulk added are the little bulges added in the back for hand comfort when playing on the console which is a super nice addition. It also adds no weight whatsoever but my switch does feel more protected and secure while keeping my joysticks and screen safe from scratches or force being applied. It comes with two screen protectors with everything you need to get it installed and those are great quality as well. The face cover easily folds onto the console or “slaps” onto it quick and easy and covers the top of the console from the Power button to the Game Card port when it is attached/installed. For the cons of this product, the magnet holding the face flap is a little too weak making it pop off more than I’d like but makes it convenient when you do want to play quickly without it dangling in the back. The case is a bit difficult to remove if you do want to dock the console or play with the Joycons unless you cut off the little pieces above the joycons as I did in the photos. It’s still secured in the case if you do so but easier access/removal It would be nice if the flap extended over the top of the trigger buttons to provide some over on those as well while stored but not that big of a deal for me. The reason I got this case was because I have the Geekshare switch travel bag which it pairs perfectly with. The two should honestly be sold as a set because of how well made they are for each other. So if you’re traveling with a switch and want something simple, light and compact then this is for you. I rarely play my switch docked or with the joycons separately unless it is docked so this is a fantastic buy. Highly recommend

The cover fits the Nintendo Switch (2017 version) in handheld mode. The Switch basically snaps into the cover, which surrounds the entire unit and is made of a hard rubbery material that gives excellent protection to the whole device with the exception of the shoulder buttons and triggers, which remain exposed. The front flip cover for the screen is attached to the body cover by magnet. This isn't a real problem but when flipping it open to access the screen it will simply fall off. It would be better if it either had stronger magnets or used velcro to prevent this from happening until it was actually pulled off by the user. Other than that this is a really nice quality, stylish cover. The cover is designed for protection against solid abrasion, so while it also gives great protection from accidental splashes of liquids, it doesn't offer actual water resistance or waterproofing so fluid immersion is most definitely not recommended.

I just received this and I LOVE it! It’s slim which is something I have been looking for for a while and yet very protective of my game system. The ONLY thing I wish they had was a small compartment to store a physical game or two. Other than that it’s a great product and well worth the price.

Pretty good flip case, protective without being too bulky. Could be better in terms of dockability and not having joycons enclosed, as well as opting for a magnetic closure than a plastic clip. The inside of the case where the grips are hollow and sink down, which can cause friction and the lower part of the joycons to sink down with enough pressure.

Ich musste echt lange warten, bis ich diese Hülle für meine "normale" Switch in den Händen halten konnte. Das Teil gibts wohl auch für die Oled, aber die ist ja beaknntlich größer. Die abnehmbare Klappe verhindert, dass sich die Switch mit den Sticks irgendwo im Rucksack verheddert und die Schutzhülle liegt wirklich gut in der Hand.

Encaja como un guante. Se ve resistente y tanto su instalación como la del cristal templado han sido bastante sencillas. El paquete consta de la funda, 2 cristales templados con sus kits de montaje y unas instrucciones para gestionar una garantía del vendedor. Inconvenientes: incrementa el peso considerablemente, pero la consola queda bien protegida.

I am so happy with this case. It fits the switch perfectly and provides the perfect amount of protection. I wanted a case that was similar to the Nintendo Switch Lite case. This allows you to throw the Switch into your back, without worrying about messing up the thumbsticks or the screen (because of the front cover). then you can flip it open and play super quick. I absolutely love this case. I am just upset it wasn't available earlier. I even went to the lengths of 3D printing something similar (but not as refined - obviously). If there is one negative (small negative) is that it can't fit into the dock with the case on. If it was able to do that, I think it would have been the best Nintendo Switch case on the planet. It serves my needs and functions perfectly and I can't see me using any other case.

A la recherche d’une protection je pense avoir trouvé ma protection parfaite. Une fois en place cette dernière enveloppe bien la console, le couvercle se retire étant aimanté vraiment bien trouvé par le fabricant.
