Must Have!!!
This kit is a must have. We like to camp and fish and this kit has literally all the tools we need to put together a site.We keep one in both the truck and the car for emergencies as it packs up small enough to fit right under a seat. All the pieces are interchangeable so if you’re not digging or cutting you have a full length walking cane with a rubber end.Perfect gift for the well prepared or any outdoors type. Will definitely buy again

I expected more for the cost
Overall, this is not a bad product. I overland travel full-time and have found utility with everything that comes in this kit, HOWEVER;The structural integrity of the design leaves a lot to be desired. Frequently I experienced the pieces becoming fused together so tightly that even vice grips couldn't break it loose. This might be solved with some anti-seize on the threads, but it's hard to find anti-seize a hundred miles from civilization. The more disturbing problem arose when I attempted to use the ax head for the second time ever - on the first swing, the shaft broke at the threads (pictured). This makes two whole pieces effectively useless, as one has no threads and the other has those threads sheared off within + damage to it's own inside threading. As such the kit is completely useless as a walking stick, since it's now about a foot too short (and it was almost too short to begin with for a 5'10" individual). I haven't found a way to replace individual sections, so it appears I'm SOL on a hiking stick. It's also worth mentioning the little compass piece fell out sometime during the first week and was never seen again.

Test and approved!
A little heavy until you assemble the walking stick. But took it out and put it through the paces. 100% approved no chipping, no bending, completely sturdy.
