Phone has a call screening and call blocking service built in with the answering service. Can Bluetooth to cell phone, too, but it could get a little confusing. I have 8 handset extensions to the one base. Before the VTech brand I had Panasonic. One thing that I miss that I had on the Panasonic devices that I'm not able to do with the vtech phones is custom name each handset/intercom. The Vtech phones just say intercom 1,2,3, etc. with no option to change it. It was so much easier to have custom labels for intercom calls within the house.

I bought the 5 handset version, fairly easy to set up. Too many bells and whistles for me, but it you like to use your cell phone with your home line, this is for you. I note two problems. One, the top has a light. The light does not light up or blink to indicate you have a message. Not a flaw, the light also lights up when the phone rings, but my older phones would blink when there was a message. I walked in, I could tell from across the room if I have msg. These, not so much. Have to pick up handset and look. And, on one of mine, when I answer by hiitting the spkr button, it does not always work. I may have to press it 2 or 3 times.

Last time I order Amazon refurbished. Two out of two times they sent the wrong item. This time I received the actual handset with answer machine and not the accessory handset I ordered. The cord that would have attached the phone to the power source did not fit. It was one that goes to what I ordered instead. I guess their folks don't know the cords are not interchangeable. This VTech system is really great. It has more functions than I need but it will expand to 12 handsets. I was attempting to get another handset to connect to the system I already have when this whole issue came up. I recommend this handset and the system it attaches to very highly.

I LOVE these phones so much I changed my whole system, this, one of additional handsets to the system. One caveat if you add handsets - make sure you're ordering the correct add-on unit that corresponds to its base - they are not interchangeable. There's a learning curve with these; the system is not very intuitive, but once you figure it out, spam/junk calls completely vanish and one can add one's cell phone contact list directly to this unit to create an instant "allowed callers" list.

I am always nicking This type of phone and nlknocking it over. I wish there were multiple phone systems that were mor stable. Like maybe horizontal.

The best part is that they block robo calls. If you want one to get through, say from your Dr, you just add their number to the "phone book" and they ring in. If their number is not a part of the phone book you create, then the PERSON has to leave their name for it to ring through. The ones that don't get through still have their number show up, so you know that you had a call. These phones also walk you through the set up, so it's not overly difficult to use. I bought a set of 5 of these with the answering machine. It turned out that we wanted one more. I ordered this one and it was added to the group without a problem and it works great.

Es un teléfono muy ergonomico, con teclas de muy buen tamaño, con todas las funciones que se requieren de un teléfono y muy cómodo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Estéticamente es hermoso, pero no puedes utilizarlo, no se puede conectar a la red, se requiere de un segundo teléfono del cual se conecta inalambricamente. Si estás pensando en comprarlo, compra los dos.

Most of this phone, I like. The screen is large and easy to read. Reception is clear. There are other pluses. On the negative side. There is no Speed Dial! Who in this century designs a phone with no speed dial. Never envisioned this when I ordered. The size is also a bit large, but not a big issue. Overall, we like the phone. I even added another phone to bring it to 6. You can add phones up to 12 on the system.
