"Tree of Qliphoth" is the third anthology by the Temple of Ascending Flame, exploring the dark side of the Qabalistic Tree as a map of Draconian Initiation. In essays, rituals and other expressions of personal research and experience, magicians and initiates of the Draconian Tradition discuss the realms of the Nightside, teachings and gnosis of its dark denizens, as well as practical methods developed both within the Temple and through their individual work. Material included in this book will give the reader a foretaste of these forces and a glimpse of what you can expect while embarking on the self-initiatory journey through the labyrinths of the Dark Tree.Compiled and edited by Asenath Mason, the book contains contributions from active magicians, students, and practitioners of the Left Hand Path: Rev Bill Duvendack, Edgar Kerval, Christiane Kliemannel, Pairika-Eva Borowska, M. King, Calia van de Reyn, Leonard Dewar, Mafra Lunanigra, N.A:O, S.TZE. Swan, and Zeis Araujo. Review: Another excellent release from The Temple of Ascending Flame - Another excellent release from The Temple of Ascending Flame, & Asenath Mason. This book gives a good amount if information of each of the Qliphothic realms, from rituals & meditations, & the best of all actual descriptions of what they look like and one can encounter there. This is not for beginners as these forces can wreak havoc on you, SERIOUSLY!! You'll also find essays from various contributors who are advanced members of the Dark Arts. This realm is as terrifying as it gets as far as malicious beings are concerned. There is empowerment here also, which is one's true goal unless your knowledgeable of these forces & at least, intermediate in the occult world. If you've worked with the Tree of Life first, it'll be better for you, unless your highly adept of course. This IS the real thing. Even if you don't plan on using the ritual instructions inside it is a fascinating read nonetheless and can be used as a mini-reference as well. Either way a great read for those of the Left-Hand Path, but also others as well. Review: Serious Path Working. - This is my first foray into the Qliphoth, I found it exciting and easy to read, very understandable path working in each qliphoth with detailed descriptions on each path. I loved the invocations, although I found myself crossing out some words and substituting my own to do my own invocations in path work. example on page 40 Invocation of Lilith Mother of all abominations and filth? huh? I'm sorry whenever I have channeled Lilith in the past I have never gotten this energy again continued patriarchal demonetization of her even though written by a woman, this will never sit well with me being a matriarchal priestess. but I won't air my beefs here with the book its just too good like an eight course meal, I was full after reading it and had to stop many times to ponder and breath deeply. I wish there was a hard cover copy there needs to be. reading a book like this you read it while in the tub, eating, going shopping literally pushing the cart while reading, yes it that good, the only thing is by the time your finished the book is so beat up, you need another copy

A must read for those interested in the tree of the Qliphoth
The night side of spirtuality is not a path for everyone but for some it is the only path. As someone who has studied world religions and Esoteric studies for the past 20 years I can say, from my perspective, it is that amount of time it takes to build up to be ready for the qliphothic initiation. I've practiced various forms of meditation including transcendental and self hypnosis for even longer than I have been studying spirtuality. It is with this practice that one must be adept to be able to descend into the darkness. Even with my vast experience I am still taking slow steps towards initiating because down this path there are doors that will open, and once opened thet can not be closed nor exited once entered. I expect to never be the same again after this experience and I am extremely grateful to have this work to guide me. It is more than a book, it is a dedicated work of art. It will help me as I take my first baby steps into hell. Why would someone WANT to go to hell? If you have to ask then you aren't ready to understand. However, this book does offer some answers to that question. Why darkness? Is it so I look like a hard-core edge-lord? Not a soul in my life knows about this side of me. To the rest of the world I'm a mild mannered, empathic, caring, and sweet soul. One thing I've learned so far in goetic and qlipothic studies over the past 3 years is that the energies that lurk in the shadows have less respect for a poser than they do for someone that walks in the light during the day being as much of an earth angel as humanly possible yet is drawn to the black sun like a moth. I'll never regret anything in my life more than ignoring the call to the black flame if I do not take this test of self. Regardless of the outcome for me I know that I have lived a life uncommon to this earth and for that, I am thankful. I am also humbled to have such easy access to this book. I will be forever grateful to those that crafted it for helping me along my path. ๐ ๐คฒ ๐ค

Not Complete
The first thing I would like to mention is that this book is missing most of the paths on the infernal tree, and that many of the spheres get incomplete coverage. If you want a more complete work, the same author has a complete work that is available on BALG the last time I checked. That said, this work is usable. What I have not seen in the reviews here is anyone discussing what the Qliphoth is for and what you can expect from the pathworking if you go all the way through it. In every forum I have seen on the subject no one comments on their work beyond a few levels in which suggests to me that most people who take up this pathworking likely don't see it through to the end like I did. Having been all the way through the system, using this book, but then using the author's more complete work to finish the missing paths, I will give my insights. The Tree of Life could be said to be associated with creation and the conscious mind. Pure cabbalists might disagree with this assertion, but simply put the tree of life is associated with the forces of creation. The infernal tree, or Qliphoth, is associated with the forces of the unconscious mind and the forces not used or found in creation. This is why the infernal tree is so chaotic, and often so destructive. It is almost as if the Qliphoth is the thing from which the spheres on the Tree of Life manifest, absent what is manifested from them. This is why the name means "Shells" or "husks" and it is only at the end, standing there, and looking back that you can see how empty it really is. When you are passing through it though, it seems full of things, but things are not what they seem. They are the forces of chaos and entropy although order can be created from them. What can you expect from the work? The answer to that question will vary from person to person, for me it was the complete and utter destruction of who I thought I was. After passing through the Abyss, I frankly felt hardly human anymore. I see the world differently from others in such profound ways that connecting to normal people on any deep level is now impossible. When the books on the Qliphoth say that when you pass into the abyss that you leave all the attributes of your old life behind, this is not overstatement. If anything, it understates what really happens, or at least such was my experience. Heuristics such as good, evil, right, wrong, cease to have meaning to you in the way that they used to, and your rose-colored glasses through which you view the world will change dramatically as a result. It was, for me at least, as if I died and was reborn as something else from what I was. In short, the infernal tree is a place of evolution and growth, often in violent unpredictable ways. Many take up the work hoping to increase their ability to manifest, and indeed this is certainly a biproduct of the experience. You will find that when your mind is unburdened by poisonous narratives, lies, pain and fear from your past, and other such constraints, that manifestation does come much easier. In conclusion, I will simply say that working with the Qliphoth is not for beginners. Also, if you are a person consumed by fear, pain, or anger (which really arises from fear or pain) then working with the Qliphoth can be dangerous for you because in the shells you will face all of your fear and pain, and all of it will bubble up, and then manifest into your environment in real tangible ways that are quite unpleasant. If you do take up this work, however, keep two things in mind. The effects of the work are delayed. When you invoke a sphere and then enter it, time passes before the effects manifest, both in your mind, and in the physical universe as you know it. Do not rush this process and be patient. The second thing to keep in mind is that the work must be seen through to completion to get them most out of it. So that said, good luck, hold on to your hat, and I hope you find what you seek. I certainly did.

This is a wonderful experience!
I actually read through it before I started from the beginning and did the ritual and chants. If anything it was a journey and I enjoy how it enlightens the imagination as I visualize the different realms. It kind of incited my imagination the same as a Stephen king gunslinger novel. Very interesting book I am glad to own!

this is one of the best works pertaining to the Qliphoth I have ever read
I just received this book today. From what I've read so far, this is one of the best works pertaining to the Qliphoth I have ever read. With detailed discriptions of each Qliphoth from personal experiences as well as invocations to each one, this is a must have for any serious worker of the Left-hand path.

Good book
Book arrived on time and in good condition. Print quality is solid. Enough information to get started, but I would recommend pairing it with another book about the Tree of Death, or on Qabalah in general.
