Excellent Headlamp At This Price Point
UPDATE: Oct. 1, 2025 this failed in a little over a year. the adjust disc on one side needed to be taped about 3 months ago. then today, the on/off charge port silicone orange cover came out when charging and while attempting to secure it back in place, i somehow pushed TOO HARD and now it won't light. boo. ----------------------- i walk the dogs at 5am in a neighborhood with a lot of wildlife and require a 1000 lumen or better field of vision to avoid human animal conflicts. I ordered a pair of 1000L to add to those I picked up several months back and this one for more of an around the house task light. Turns out, this is the one I grab and want with me every walk. Even though the 1000L is just a tiny spot when out in wilderness, it is helpful for seeing eyes of critters in the open field. But my favorite thing bout this is the light bar - it illuminates the 3-4 feet right around us which is so helpful in the woods or on hikes/walks to keep from tripping. Also turns out to be very easy to adjust one handed with just a quick turn of the dial on the end where you also turn it on or off. That same on/off button serves as the charge port and while It loses lumens after a few hours but charges quickly. Only con I'd say is that both lights never illuminate together. All 5 lamps have identical headbands and came in the same black box and likely made in the same plant in China. But no matter b/c these are truly excellent for the price. I priced the REI versions all were between $50 and 150, on sale! I'd have to buy 5 every 6 months to get to the prices of leading brands of these. I am very impressed.

Excellent Value
I was looking for a rechargeable headlamp that I could mount to my work hard hat and these worked great. Battery life works long enough that I don't have to charge it constantly but don't expect to use it for too many hours before you need to do so. For the current price, these are a great deal honestly. Getting two essentially splits the price in half, and I was able to mount one onto my hard hat and have the other for camping and other utility purposes. They're plenty bright with only the two modes, first a more directed beam and the second mode a wider beam. It's all one button but thankfully for me there's no flashing light mode which would add another click to shut it off, a difficult thing to try and do with gloved hands. Instead, I usually click it to the wider beam option so I only have to find the button once to turn it off. The charging port is covered by a silicone cover which helps keep moisture and dirt out of it and it's not too hard to peel back and stays on when you want it to most of the time. It has plenty of degrees of angling so you can point it directly forward or all the way facing down. It doesn't move around on it's own while wearing it either so once you set the angle it pretty much stays unless you move it, intentionally or otherwise. The headband is adjustable and not uncomfortable, although it can slip out of the side of the plastic mount if you stretch it too far so it's not 100% secure but if you have it adjusted to the right size it's not an issue.

All about the price.... $6.99
Was going to give 3 stars until i remembered that this headlamp was $6.99. It definitely is not the brightest. The Battery life is marginal at best but i bought a budget friendly headlamp. i usually need a headlamp long enough to complete a small task. This works well for that. Last night putting up Christmas lights it gave me 30 minutes of bright usable light. I fell that was decent for $6.99. I would have liked it better if some how you know its done charging. Its been on the charger since last night and still a solid red light. The lights have returned to their peak brightness but im not sure if its fully charged. However $6.99

Nice light poor battery
Looked up farpoint lights. Found these, copies. Looked the same, so I ordered them. They don’t work the same. They look great. The band is a little tight. The rechargable battery doesn’t last. For $10 I got two. What do you expect? will keep them for short time use.

Perfect for close-up car repairs.
First tried this headlamp to trace wires under the car dash (really dark there!!) instead of a standrad, bulky, hot drop-light. Much better than the old way, really. I'll use it all the time now for looking into dark crannies.

Not for me
Headband is sized for a kids head, they cut circulation to my head (maybe my head is oversized) Charge doesn’t last, it works maybe to have around the house, but not for work. And micro USB charge port sits too deep into the housing, makes it hard to connect. Unfortunately I have to return them
