An installation adventure
I purchased this too replace a slow motor on my Ecofan 810. Delivery was timely and the motor is exactly the same as the original equipment. It comes with the title Allen wrenches, screws, etc., and a very colorful ‘instruction’ sheet. Instructions were simple enough, until it came to disconnecting the connector to the original motor. The photo in the instruction sheet tells you not to grab the wires, but grab one side of the connector. It seems to indicate that this will slide out easily, and the part that will slide out is to be made of metal. Wrong. The sliding part is made of thin plastic, and any attempt to try to grab it makes it disintegrate more and more, until finally there is nothing left but the two wires that were contained within it. Fortunately, those wires have sliding connectors on them, so that you can just slide the new wires on to the receiving ends, that are on the new motor. It was an adventure, to say the least, and I didn’t know if this ‘fix’ would allow the fan to work. But it does. The difficulty with this connector forced me to give this only 4 stars. Otherwise the replacement is fine.

Motor fixed
When my Ecofan failed my first thought was if I could get any replacement parts. Looked on amazon and there it was. Part was with me the next day and fitted within 5 minutes. Fan now working fine.

All you need to to keep it like new
Very good service ..Everything including the Allen keys to remove and replace the fan as i hadn't got a key as small as that in my tool kit all in the repair kit with the motor ... Five minutes to change over and like new.. Excellent.
