Hair Mascara Root Touch-Up for Gray Hair | Precision Hairline Concealer for Brows & Beard (DARK BLONDE)

This is the best "temporary" touchup product I've tried & I'm so happy it exists. The mascara style wand allows for nice application. It's perfect to touch up around your face and your center part. Extend the time between hair salon visits 1-2wks longer (great way to either save money or simply help manage a busy schedule preventing you from getting to salon sooner). Note: Since it's temporary, it will rinse off in the shower/when swimming and some could potentially rub off on fabric like a pillow case. When it's brand new I find that sometimes I get a little more color off the wand then I need on my hair so my trick is to apply to damp hair, finish blowdrying, then lightly rub a tissue over the spots to take away any excess color not absorbed into my hair. But frankly even if a little rubs off on my pillowcase when sleeping, the "vanity" benefits of this wand far outweigh needing to do laundry.

I purchased the Greyfree Instant Hair Color Touch Up in 2 shades. My hair is highlighted so I bought dark blonde for my top roots and light brown for underneath. I have been using Greyfree for years, my roots come in every 2 1/2 weeks. To save money I use Greyfree so I don't have to go to the salon as often. It has a mascara type wand which I love. It makes it very easy to apply where you want it. I have used root touch up in spray form. It does apply as well or as accurately as the mascara wand. The colors are so close to my hair color no one has noticed I use it. I was buying these from my salon at $15 each. When I saw how much they were on Amazon I bought 4 of each color.

The color is good, but the wand catches and pulls my hair when applied. Also leaves a sticky coating on hair. There are much better products out there. I would not buy this again.

This covers the grey very well. It will brush out a little after it dries, and will wash out with shampoo.

Is the perfect color matching my clairol #7 dark blonde. Does not roll out easily but does have semipermanent quality. I was very happy to find a match for roots that turn very white in certain spots. Heating with hair dryer after applying helped keep color.

This product gets me through the last few days before my next root retouch appointment. It covers well and is easy to use.

The concept of a mascara bottle for root touch-up is a nice one - if only it worked. I could barely get any product out (I wonder if it is too thick or maybe there is not much in the bottle). The little I got out does not go on hair well. It barely went on a couple of hairs, it got super dry within the minute, and invisible after some 20, 30 minutes. It literally did nothing.

Love this product, easy, no mess, blends perfectly! Covers the new grays/whites until I can get my hair colored again!

I'm very happy with my purchase. I have dark blond hair and I ordered the dark blond and it's a perfect match. I like the applicator as well I was worried it would be messy/drippy. I love it for my "side burn" area which shows the grey/white the fatest. Perfect for in-between hair visits. A little goes a long way. I applied to my dry hair-let the cover up dry and then blow dried it out. I've used it 3 times, seems like there is still quite a few applications left. Can't complain for the price.

I love this product. I’m very OCD when it comes to having roots grow out I find that it makes me feel really yucky so this definitely helps. Bring back the color.

This little Temporary hair color mascara is a dream come true. It is so much easier than the other products on the shelf.

I found this product to work great. I applied the colour on my grey in the afternoon and it still was working when I woke up the next day until I jumped into the shower again I opened it up about two weeks ago. Hopefully it will last for a while and not dry up in the container🤞
