Watch the tv series first but these are amazing!
OMG IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE SERIES YOU NEED TO READ THESE! My son ABSOLUTELY LOVES these books! I got them for him since he liked the series on tv and I don’t regret it they’re more difficult to read so they last longer but they’re amazing just like the show! They did not disappoint! I recommend reading them I hate reading myself and I loved these!

UK version
My son enjoys this series, and asked me to read the books too. I see why he likes them, but as I’ve been reading, I noticed alternate word spellings. I realized that this specific set was published in the UK. Why does this matter? Because curb is spelled “kerb, tire is spelled “tyre”, meter is spelled “metre”, etc. It doesn’t bother my son, but I wanted to figure out why. There is another version without traditional British spellings. Just an fyi to buyers.

I was a bit disappointed with the drawings of the first 3 books, since it's supposed to be for kids and I find the drawings way too dark for them, but the artworks mostly follow the main story of the book. If you don't really like reading, you can still enjoy the story.
