I bought this fridge for my semi because the room was limited. These are a great buy worthy every penny. It’s durable and reliable I never have to worry about temp it’s, no different then using my home fridge. I really appreciate its quality. I’ve used it for over a year now and I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a good fridge for truck or rv

I was about to embark on a two-week long road trip across the US and needed a portable fridge that wasn't overly expensive and received quickly. This was the perfect option, and did really well. It's pretty quiet and kept temperature very well. I love that it comes with both the cables to plug into a portable battery and to your car when you're on the go. A must have for road trips and camping!

I LOVE this fridge! I have a Costway 58 qt. and BougeRV 53 qt. that I use for my fifth wheel (one dedicated for refrigerator and the other for freezer). However, purchasing refrigerated items in town and eventually returning home has always been a challenge. I finally got one just for my van and I am really kicking myself for not getting this one earlier. It is perfect. It's light weight and really cools down quickly. I have used it with my Bluetti EB3A when I know I'll be making more stops. Otherwise I plug it into my van's 12 volt. I decided to get the cover/jacket for the unit and that does a fantastic job of keeping the temperatures steady when the fridge is not being powered. This is the case when I am using the van's 12 volt which only works when the engine is running. I also love how light this unit is. I can easily move around in my van and lift without any effort - at least when there is no food in it. BougeRV is certainly making a reputation for themselves. My 53 qt has worked flawlessly for the past 12 months of using it full-time and not this 23 qt is living up to the same standard. These are great refrigerators and I highly recommend the 23 quart and also the optional cover that enhances its temperature maintenance and fits the unit perfectly. Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend this refrigerator!

I have several of these small fridges and I must say that the BougeRV fridge works the best. Set it and forget it. There is no temp fluctuations on this unit. I use it as a second freezer in my camper. Set it at 1 degree.....and it stays at 1 degree. Great product and price.

It works fine. It cools from room temp to 34 in about 15 min, if I load it with cold stuff. My only complaint is with measurements. I mistakenly thought they were giving internal measurements, because THAT is what would be useful. You can't quite close the lid on an upright 1/2 gal of milk. The actual, external width and height are smaller than the description, by about 1/2". It's a good road-trip cooler. It does not stay cold long after the power is off. You can take a lunch break, but I wouldn't let it in a car more than an hour without power, and expect it to stay cold.

I bought this cooler to use for when I'm out and about traveling to car shows or where ever I may roam. The biggest test was in my old convertible. My issue was finding a 12 volt power source as the cigarette lighter doesn't work and cell phone plugs are not 12 volt output. In the end I used a power extension cord from my battery to the cooler wire. I had a 4 1/2 drive home in almost 90* heat and cooler sat in back seat in the sun. I set it for 0*. Got stuck in the city in traffic for over a half hour and was worried about the ice cream melting. Had time to check temp and it was 18*, still plenty cold enough. When i got home finally it was still frozen solid and still at 18*. Amazing to me that even in the sun it managed to stay cold enough. l do worry about my new car though because it has it's own built in battery saving thing and may shut off the power to the cooler. It runs a dash camera fine but the cooler may pull more power. I did purchase a battery pack recently just to be safe! Be sure if you are plugging this into an outlet in your car that it is not a switched outlet. Meaning that when the key off so is the power outlet!! I will update if I run into any issues. But for now I am very pleased with cooler and it did better than expected! The size is perfect for what I need it for also. As for the noise, I never really heard it when testing it out in my house, to be sure it was working well and accurate on temps. As for in my car who knows, it's windy in a convertible! It was pretty much spot on with the temps I tested it at also. Tested at 0*, 32* AND 45* I will just need to add clips and inline fuse on for the extension if I ever need to use it again in my old car. Will update if my opinion changes after a few more uses. This review comes after a full year of 24/7 use. It was tossed into the back seat of my Tundra a year ago and connected to a 12 volt 300 ah LiFePo battery. It has run flawlessly ever since. When I’m driving, a 20 amp charger charges the battery. When the ignition is off, it uses the stored power. In the winter (South Texas) I can easily go 10 days without charging. During the heat of the summer I can get about 6 days. It holds drinks (saves a bundle on drive-thru meals!) and random bits of grocery on the 45 minute commute home (salmon, steaks, eggs). Something to know about this product: it MUST be level or it complains. If tilted, it makes wishy-washy noises while running. So get it level. Current draw at 13 volts is tiny: about 3 amps on Eco, and 4.25 amps on Max. I’ve never seen more than 4.5 amps on the hottest days (over 100F). This thing just flat-out works. I am very impressed, especially for less than $200 delivered!

Worked perfectly for the family road trip. Cooled drinks very well and we were able to get ice cream and keep it on our hotel room that did not have a fridge/freezer.

Excelente, enfrió a -10 grados centigrados en modo económico en 50 minutos, utilizando únicamente un 2% de energía de mi pila portatil!. El tamaño es el que necesito, por eso lo compre con las características que tiene. Lo recomiendo para uso de camping,con espacio de alimentos varios para 2 personas en fin de semana; sin duda lo disfrutaré en mis salidas en Baja California,México.

Great size and weight.. for me and what I do..cools fast and has a battery saver so it wont kill my battery..I had it down to -19 in the house I tested it with digital thermometer it is actually 2 degrees colder than the indicator light .. apparently you can calibrate it if it bothers me . I leave mine at 5C .. it stays running while I get my frozen veggies and meat that I'm concerned about driving 40 min when it's hot out .. now if I wanna make another stop it doesn't matter food stays cold . Nice looking machine ,easy to operate. I bought the protective case mainly to keep it clean in the back of the suv .. great price and great unit .. these guys use a dependable compressor and are known to be very durable. I really like it ! For the price it's a great unit ..

Works great! 27 deg. C outside, solar panel that gives more or less 15 Watts with a Jackery explorer 300W. Enough to keep the drinks cold (3 deg. C) with power pack state of charge slowly going up. Unbeatable for the price. I do have a Dometic cfx50w and bought this for short road trips as a lighter, smaller alternative. Super quiet and very efficient. Just remeber to wait at least 12 hours after delivery before powering up as it might have been tilted during shipping (so the oil can return back to the compressor sump). I highly recommend it!
