Rubies A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger Deluxe Glove for Adults, Men's

I bought this for my 5 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. It is meant for an adult so it was pretty big on him, but it didn’t stop him from using it. The glove part came off the claws, well my son took it apart, pretty easily too. However the claws are very durable and still in tact. He is still able to play with it just fine without the glove part. It’s a very cool product and definitely worth the buy!

This is the molded plastic version of the Freddy glove, released 2006, I believe. It's the slightly lower end "budget model" if you will. You will probably be more satisfied with the FREDDY DLX METAL GLOVE . I currently own both. But may give away this plastic version as a prize in a contest or as a door prize... There's nothing wrong with it, per se. It's probably safer than the metal version. Unless of course the plastic breaks more easily... The Metal version is simply more authentic. But overall it's a'ight. 4 of 5 stars for being plastic rather than metal.

This is excellent, REAL claw glove, authentic look of the one Freedy Kruegur (Robert Englund) wore in the movie.

The Glove doesn't look like the picture (used other user's reviews as reference to buy it). It's still great, it takes a little bit to figure out a way of putting it in without the fear of breaking it since it looks fragile. After a while of putting it on and off repeatedly through the days I've had it I feel very pleased with the purchase.

This is no "Deluxe" glove. More like a chinese knockoff. It doesn't look anything like the picture and even all the "features" of the glove don't exist. The color is completely wrong and reeks of spraypaint, which is pretty much what the paint job looks like. There is paint all over the blades and isn't even fully covering the shell. The fabric part of the glove is so light in color it looks like someone just cut up a cheap garden glove. It claims to have adjustable finger straps - lie. It's all plastic, and cheap plastic at that. It says the wrist is adjustable - also false. It has elastic on one side and a 3" rope dangling from the top side of the plastic to "adjust." This has to be the worst Halloween item I've ever ordered. The only thing that was correct in the advertisement of this item is that the fingers will move, though I'm afraid of doing even that because it seems like one move too many and it'll just fall right off. Don't waste your money.

Pagato poco più di 7€ e per me vale l'acquisto. Ho deciso di scrivere la recensione perché sinceramente trovo alcuni dei commenti precedenti piuttosto fuorvianti... Materiali: 1) il guanto è in pelle/finta pelle sul dorso, in stoffa dalla parte del palmo (non carta da forno come scritto da altri). Il palmo è aperto e nella descrizione del prodotto leggo che è per permettere alle mani di uscire e afferrare oggetti al bisogno, non so quanto possa essere utile ma personalmente non lo trovo brutto. La stoffa delle punte delle dita (a parte il pollice) è aperta, credo perché in questo modo si ha più sensibilità e il guanto si riesce ad adattare a grandezze diverse delle mani. Io ho dita fini ma lunghe e il guanto si infila benissimo. In ogni caso le punte sono coperte dalla parte in plastica per cui esticamente non è un problema. 2) il "metallo" ovviamente è in plastica. E' una plastica rigida, non mi dà l'impressione che si possa spaccare facilmente. Le articolazioni sono semi-mobili, nel senso che le falangi si possono chiudere quel tanto che basta per afferrare un bicchiere ma sicuramente non si riesce a scrivere o utilizzare la mano per operazioni complesse, senza contare che le lame rendono tutto più difficoltoso. A proposito delle lame, sono anch'esse in plastica lucida, riflettono la luce e come finto acciaio direi che fanno bene il loro mestiere. Quanto all'effetto "plasticoso" citato da molti, è evidente perché la plastica è plastica, sarebbe come lamentarsi che una maschera di gomma sembra troppo gomma e non pelle umana. Indossabilità: Al primo utilizzo ho faticato ad infilarlo perché per qualche motivo la stoffa non era infilata nelle articolazioni in plastica. Una volta però messe in posizione, le dita del guanto in stoffa rimangono nelle guaine in plastica ed infilarlo è semplice. La manualità è piuttosto limitata ma come scritto sopra non del tutto assente perché i giunti sono semi-mobili. In teoria sarebbe possibile anche allargare le dita lateralmente, ma non è un'impresa agevole. Giudizio finale: Per me svolge egregiamente il suo compito, se lo scopo è quello di travestirsi da Freddy per Halloween. Al prezzo di 7/8€ per me è un affarone. Non lo consiglierei ovviamente a collezionisti o a puristi, per i quali vedo che è disponibile un guanto più rifinito e in metallo, il cui prezzo ovviamente riflette la qualità (mi sembra attorno ai 45€). A me personalmente piace e visto l'utilizzo che ne farò vale pienamente i soldi spesi. Onestamente poi mi sembra che la foto corrisponda al prodotto, la plastica la riconosco in foto e ovviamente la riconosco nella realtà, l'effetto è simile.

I didn't want to get the more expensive version of this glove as I've read that it isn't that much more durable and that it requires large hands to fit perfectly. For the money, this cheaper Deluxe version is great. It looks like the Freddy glove and the blades look real enough from distance. The finger joints do bend a little but you cannot make a fist with your hand. The fit was perfect for my smaller male hands (my glove size is usually 8-8.5) It does make me feel uneasy putting the glove on and taking it off as I'm constantly afraid that inner soft glove is going to tear away from the rivets keeping it attached to the hard part of the glove. Hopefully the durability is there. UPDATE: The durability is there! I wore this glove through Halloween and wasn't particularly careful with it. I didn't hit anything (or anyone) with it, but I did go clubbing and danced a lot with the glove on me. It still functions like it was brand new. I'm extremely positively surprised by this and would recommend this glove to any fan of Freddy.
