xFi Pod

Needed WiFi range to reach the other side of my house and the driveway so the cars would be able to complete an OTA update and the ring camera could connect and properly function. This was super easy to setup and achieved its purpose. Have had it over 2 years and it still works like a champ.

Originally gave it a 1 star review but after a few days of having it plugged in, it’s got all devices on the lower level of my 2500sqft home at full signal strength!

This did not work for me . It actually made things worse - WiFi signal and speed decreased. Maybe there was a fix but I did not bother to contact tech support - just returned it.

I was using a third party Wi-fi extender and was suffering from dropped signals and slowdowns. Finally went with the Xfi Pod so I could have something that I know would work seamlessly with Xfinity. Overall I am very happy. It was easy to setup, my wi-fi is rock solid, and my speed doubled in the far to reach spots of my home. The only reasons this isn't 5 stars, is that it will only work on Xfinity (so don't move) and it costs too much. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and wish I had done it earlier.

I tired a few different wifi extenders including the 1st gen xfi pod and this was the winner! Very happy with the coverage and speed I get. Plus it was very easy to set up!

I am returning my purchase, because I found there were lower prices available. The technical performance Is superior to any extenders I have used to date. We have a rather large two-story home with a full basement. I put one unit on the main floor at first and added a second in the basement. The coverage is excellent, and the setup was a no brainer. My only advice would be, check out the XFinity website. A single pod is $119, a two-pack is $199. I opted for shipping @ $15. Other than price, I highly recommend this product.

pod was in working condition but should have been cleaned before it was shipped. very dirty out of the box.

I bought two cheaper extenders before buying this one because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an extender. I need Internet outside of my house and the other two that I bought were not doing it. I called Xfinity and they said the best solution was to get one of these. I figured I would buy it on Amazon just because I like to be able to purchase things here rather than through outside sources and I got this one used but in good condition. So far, so good! It reaches where I need it to reach outside of my house and I am very happy. Hoping that it continues to provide the service coverage that I need. It was more than I wanted to spend on an extender, but it works so it was totally worth it!
