Almost perfect; a sleek, modern Moka pot
It’s a genuinely lovely piece of kit. The design is classic Bialetti but with a modern, slightly squarer silhouette and a really satisfying heft. It feels premium and sits completely flat on my induction hob with no wobble. Heat distribution is even, and it brews a rich, full-bodied coffee that gets very close to espresso strength without any metallic aftertaste. The 3 cup size is ideal for making a single strong latte or two small shots.

A well made moka pot suitable for use on my induction hob. I am getting consistently good quality moka.

Just lovely for a perfect coffee for one
I like the appearance and how well it is made. Everything fits so tightly too. I would say, however, that occasionally it leaks between the top and the boiler but I am unsure why. The moka funnel is quite small and it is easy to spill coffee when trying to fill it as I try to ensure the funnel is full, without pressing down on the coffee. I choose to use boiling water to fill the pot and so I have to use a cloth to secure the boiler when attaching it together. I always make sure to heat the pot on a low heat, as Bialetti recommend. James Hoffman videos on YouTube are excellent and have helped me to understand how to use the Moka pot properly.

Nada que ver con las genéricas, es de mayor calidad y no se batalla tanto para sacar un buen café, solo se obtienen entre 70 y 80 ml. En la de 2 tazas. Aún que es pequeña si la detectan las estufas de inducción( probé en 2).

great Moka pot
I love this Moka pot. I replaced a 30 year old one with this. It has a stainless steel bottem for any cook top style and made in Italy with nice construction. It brews very consistently if you're consistent with the way you use it. This isn't the easiest style of brewing for beginners but it's traditional and tastes great when you know how to use it. James Hoffman on YouTube has a great tutorial for those interested. Through my experience of doing it the same way James recommends, your brew takes about 4-6 minutes once it's on the heat. I always use 90°C filtered water when brewing too. The only thing I change is the grind size depending on the roast I'm using. I'm thinking of purchasing a larger unit in the future.
