I actually ended up picking this up simply because I can mount it vertically on my camera ON a gimbal. The app is okay at best, it doesn't weigh much and the clarity is awesome. Its super easy to use right out of the box and I had this set up in less than 5 mins. Compared to the parrot pro this thing is awesome. Its a plastic design but still feels pretty good. I can use a 20mm lens on a crop sensor camera and not see any of the teleprompter.

I guess it's easy to install for some people but it seems completely impossible to install on my Sony ZV-E10. How would I know? The instructions just show a picture of it magically attached to the camera in the next frame... And one of the slide rails for camera phone mounting was broken out of the box. edit: apparently you need a 40.5mm to 49mm adapter ring to attach to this camera. I still have no idea how that will help me or how this thing will attach to the lens. Maybe it will be obvious once that's in hand. I'm leaving it at 1 star for the complete absence of any useful installation information.

This has saved me so many video takes!! It is so easy to set up, and the ability to use a phone or DSLR camera is amazing. The design is small and can just sit on my table top. The teleprompter software is easy to use and quick to download. I use it at work and my kids use it to make (very professional looking) videos!!

I love this little teleprompter. We have a full greenscreen studio with a teleprompter at the office, since Covid, I've been recording training sessions from home. The intial poor quality was a stark change from what we had been doing. So I started putting together a home version. This teleprompter fit the bill very nicely. I use an old iphone for the teleprompter and my current phone as the video. I also attached a shotgun mic to the cold shoe attachment point on top. It's worked out great. Pros: - It works! - small footprint - when I'm not using it, it takes up very little space. - Cold Shoe attachment point - remote control (bluetooth) stops/starts the teleprompter just fine. Cons: - Its a little finicky to set up. But every one I've used has that problem. - weak camera/phone attachment for recording. (I really wish they had used the same setup as for the teleprompter phone.) - It could really use a bit of standoff between the main unit and the tripod. I ended up buying one. Without it, you can't really use an attachment plate on a tripod as it blocks the release levers. (it didn't work with any of my tripods.) - The remote control ONLY starts/stops the teleprompter. It would be nice if you could rewind or restart. - The remote makes an audible click regardless of which kind of mic I use. Its subtle, so not a deal breaker, but I do notice it while editing. - Teleprompter software is REALLY basic. You can't really import an existing file. You can cut and paste plain text. But editing within the software is tough. when at the bottom of my script, I can't see the text as the onscreen keyboard covers it up. The workaround is to add a bunch of carriage returns at the end of the script to keep text above the keyboard. Not a show stopper, but it was a pain.

This teleprompter works perfectly for what I bought it for. The letters are clear and easy to read, and it works great with both my camera and lens. The quality feels solid, and setup was simple. Definitely worth it

Pros: Very sturdy Cons: Instructions are virtually useless. The remote really doesn’t work. There is mention of an app to use with the teleprompter but the QR code takes you to a messaging app instead of a teleprompter app. I went ahead and purchased “Teleprompter” from the Apple App Store and essentially have little to no need for this product. Only keeping it to have the option of using my DSLR camera. Since I have an iPhone 12 Pro, the front facing camera is just as good as my DSLR.

The hardest thing having to shoot video nowadays, is being able to produce things quickly and have gear that is going to move with you everywhere you go. I needed a prompt that was going to help me go from point a to point B without having to carry a lot of gear. Very run and gun situation. This thing is so lightweight. I don’t have to worry about it, it works with all the different lenses that I have because it has all the attachments for it. I’ve been using it almost every day to shoot content everywhere I go so very good value for the money this one.

Lo uso para grabar con celulares. Es perfecto, le puedes poner una cámara DSLR o un buen celular. Además con una buena aplicación de Telepromptin queda bien con su control remoto que viene incluido. Debido a que esta completamente construido en plástico, sí debes detener cuidado al manipularlo ya que se siente que algunas piezas se pueden romper fácilmente.

Ich hatte mir diverse Teleprompter auf Amazon und in anderen Ecken des WWWs angesehen und irgendwie konnte mich keiner unter 200 Euro überzeugen. 200 Euro (oder mehr) wollte ich allerdings nicht ausgeben, schlicht und ergreifend, weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob ich wirklich einen brauche. Für DIY Lösungen war ich zu faul. Den AMBITFUL (bzw. "Pronstoor" - dieser Name ist auf der recht wertigen Verpackung aufgedruckt) wollte ich mir zunächst gar nicht näher ansehen, da ich bei diesem Preis windige Verarbeitung und schlechtes Design vermutete. Die 4 Sterne Wertung und die meist sehr positiven Rezensionen, ließ mich dann doch neugierig werden. Anders als bei allen anderen günstigen Lösungen, die ich bislang gesehen hatte, wirkte das Design sehr durchdacht und zwar günstig aber nicht billig. Nach kurzem Check auf YouTube und einigen wirklich positiven Rezensionen dort, dachte ich mir: "Was solls, ich bestelle ihn einfach mal". Das Teil ist natürlich Vollplastik, aber scheint recht stabil zu sein. Adapter für alle gängigen Objektiv-Filterdurchmesser von 49mm (cool, passt sogar ans winzige Kit-Objektiv meiner Canon M50) bis 77mm werden mitgeliefert. Ich benutze meist den 52mm Ring am Canon EF-s 24mm 2.8 (gleicher Durchmesser übrigens wie am klassischen "Nifty Fifty", dem 50mm 1.8 II. Das sei nur erwähnt, weil bei einem anderen Rezensenten dieser Ring scheinbar fehlte. Auch ein 58mm Ring für das 50mm 1.4 ist natürlich dabei). Die 24mm an meiner Crop-Sensor Kamera (EOS 90D) sind weit genug für mich, um nah genug an der Kamera zu sein und die Schrift noch angenehm lesen zu können. Bei 50mm und entsprechender Entfernung zur Kamera, so dass nicht nur mein Gesicht bildfüllend ist, würde es vermutlich schon etwas schwerer werden, ohne in der Teleprompter App die Schriftgröße massiv aufzublasen. Apropos App: In der beiliegenden Beschreibung (chinesisch und englisch), ist ein QR Code abgedruckt, der zu einer Teleprompter App für Android führen soll. Dieser Link hat zum Zeitpunkt der Niederschrift dieser Rezension nicht funktioniert. Das ist aber verzeihbar, das es (zumindest in der Android Welt) eine große Anzahl an Teleprompter Apps gibt. Ich selbst verwende die App "Elegant Teleprompter" aus dem Google Playstore. Es ist zwar eine Bezahl-App (ca. 3 Euro), bietet aber auch Unterstützung für die Bluetooth Fernbedienung (inkl. freier Tastenbelegung!). Eine andere (kostenlose) App ist "Simple Teleprompter", die auch alle nötigen Basis-Funktionen außer (!) dezidierte Fernbedienungs-Unterstützung bietet. In diesem Fall, ist die Fernbedienung "nur" ein Mausersatz, sprich, ein Mauscursor erscheint am Bildschirm, mit dem man die App bedienen kann. Das funktioniert, aber ist ein wenig umständlich, da der Joystick der Fernbedienung etwas träge reagiert. Die spezielle Tastenbelegung in "Elegant Teleprompter", mit der ich auch während der Prompter läuft, pausieren oder die Geschwindigkeit ändern kann, ist genial. Den Adapterring in die Halterung zu fummeln empfand ich als etwas schwergängig. Erst dachte ich, ich mache etwas falsch. Für Smartphone-Benutzung sind diverse Schaumstoff-Adapter mit bei, die wirklich alle möglichen Konstellationen abdecken. Sogar ein "Coldshoe" am "Dach" des Teleprompters, an den man Mikros befestigen kann ist vorhanden. Wer also mit Mikrofonen wie dem Rode Videomic, dem Joby oder ähnlichen arbeitet, den wird das freuen. Ist das Teil stabil? Hmm... Sagen wir es mal so: Ich würde es nicht einfach in eine Tasche schmeißen. Das Plastik wirkt zwar ganz widerstandsfähig, aber der Spiegel ist direkt zugänglich. Beim Transport wäre ich sehr, sehr vorsichtig. Das ist auch wirklich der einzige Schwachpunkt, den ich sehe. Wenn ich das Teil öfter mitnehmen müsste, würde ich auf eine Lösung setzen, die "zusammenlegbar" bzw. auseinandernehmbar ist. Alleine, weil das für den Transport sicherer ist. Alles in allem bin ich wirklich happy mit dem Gerät und möchte es schon jetzt nicht mehr missen.

a decent cheap solution for a teleprompter, it came with a bunch of cheap items (tripod, remote) that could help in your teleprompting activities. The major drawback: thicker HDMI panels (I use a portkeys pt5 because it can flip the image in-screen) might create a light streak in the bottom of camera view. There is no way to lower the panel with respect to the mirror, so the only option to resolve this is to crop the image, or use one of those thin raspberry pi HDMI panels, and make sure to get one without a case.

Mencionar que es "totalmente plastico" si se te cae alguna parte y/o pieza se rompera. Sin embargo te saca del apuro, funciona perfecto para lo que fue hecho. En resumen si eres cuidadoso con tus cosas puedes usarlo sin problema.
