Q: Can this item be used to sew denim jeans?

I have used Gutterman polyester (sew-all) thread to make denim jeans. If the jeans are a dark indigo the black color should be fine for the seams; however, if the jeans are a lighter blue, then I would suggest you color match the thread to the jeans especially for the hems. If the jean fabric has lycra for stretch, you may want to use a a zig zag stitch with the stitch width set to narrow or a lower setting and a medium stitch length.
