Patriot P210 512GB Internal SSD - SATA 3 2.5" - Solid State Drive - P210S512G25

A great drive overall. I bought it as a replacement for my desktop's 512 GB hard drive, using a 2.5" drive adapter bracket/enclosure, and the speed boost is noticeable right away. It's very lightweight and compact, easy to set up, and offers fantastic quality for the price. Definitely recommended!

Great drive. Very fast. Using with Windows 11 and Linux Mint dual boot in a desktop PC. Highly recommend. Priced right and made in Taiwan. This is not some Chinese knockoff. Patriot is well known for quality.

Bought this to upgrade the HHD in my older HP aio, and it has been a massive upgrade! My machine runs much faster, and I haven’t had the screen freeze up once since the switch!

Needed a cheap ssd to replace an old hard drive, works great.

My mom has had the same computer for almost 10yrs. Thankfully, I have a uncle who is a computer expert who keeps it alive. I bought this product to keep the computer going for another 5yrs, hopefully. Good product and a fair price.

Had an issue with the first one dying prematurely, but the second drive has been working! Storage space is as advertised and the drive is certainly faster than the old HDD drive it replaced. No compatibility issues with Windows or Raspberry Pi 4. Build material is good but feels a little thin at points, but good enough for most installations.

This item is performing flawlessly, getting great speeds and no hiccups.

The Patriot P210 256GB SSD is a good option for anyone looking to upgrade an older desktop or laptop without replacing the entire computer. I like that it uses a standard 2.5 inch SATA connection, making it compatible with many computers that originally came with traditional hard drives. One of the biggest advantages of switching to an SSD is the potential improvement in startup times, loading programs, and everyday computer performance. The 256GB capacity is a reasonable size for Windows, essential software, and basic file storage. I also appreciate that SSDs have no moving parts, making them quieter than traditional mechanical hard drives. This is especially nice for an older computer that gets regular use. Overall, this is a practical choice for a basic computer upgrade, particularly if you want better everyday performance without spending money on a completely new system.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo alto. Velocità di trasferimento vicina a quella nominale. Nel complesso convenienti.

I bought the 2TB version of this SSD as replacement for the small SSD in my laptop. After a while, the screen sometimes freeze, sometimes it was slow, or doesn't respond anymore. So I had to restart my laptop sometimes. I didn't understand what was going on because the resource manager didn't indicate any processes who use lot of RAM/memory or possess the CPU extensively. When I read on others about the bad reliability of Patriot SSD's after a while, I decided to replace the 2TB SSD with one from Samsung 2TB SSD. I cloned all my data from the Patriot SSD to the Samsung SSD and all the problems I had earlier with the laptop went immidiately gone. Now it's functioning perfectly for weeks. So the Patriot was ultimately the culprit. As backup SSD it will be probably a good cheap alternative, but DO NOT use as main/boot SSD!
