Lovely shorts stories from a favorite author
Noel Streatfeild writes lovely stories and has been a favorite author for YEARS! These short stories are all the sort that immediately draw you in. I would be perfectly pleased to read an entire book about any of the families featured here and, as I was reading, was sometimes rudely awakened when the short ended! A wonderful book and highly recommended.

Delightful
I selected this for a granddaughter to cheer her up. Most of the stories have a show-biz theme and are related to Christmas. Inevitably , because they are all half a century old they show a world where things were less plentiful and more difficult to obtain. They also show how important family love and support are and that all the fancy bits and bobs that distract us at Christmas are literally only as important as the icing on the cake.

Wonderful Initiative
I bought copies for my three granddaughters for their stockings and am so pleased that the legacy of this amazing author has been perpetuated. What a triumph to produce such a compilation, and I gather the book has been appreciated and enjoyed after Christmas by parents and recipients alike ! Thank you to those who have kept alive and relevant the amazing stories and memories of Noel Streatfeild .

Such cute stories some heartwarming and some fun and brave.stories of family is such a great read this time of year.ive never read any of Noel’s stories or books before and this was my first foray into her stories.i really enjoyed this book of short stories
