Q: Will this fit hpi sprint 2 flux?

Yes. If it seems tight though just loosen the top two screws for the battery compartment & the bottom ones, slide the battery in & retighten them.

Q: What size wire is the adapter?

5mm. I use bullet plugs that step down from 5mm to 4mm on my ESC in my 4wd Short Course truck. So I can use any battery plug size. Batteries offer incredible performance.
