Seems to work as intended and great for those just getting started. Best to know if your tank is ready before you put fish in. Also use this before you do any dead fish returns so you know if it was you or them, especially since most will want a water sample to test themselves.

Great value for price & function perfectly. The colors are accurate & they’re so easy to use. You just fill a test tube that comes with it, with tank water, dip the stick in, & within seconds it tells you what’s off or if the waters fine. Easy to read water quality.

These test straps work great, but you only have 30 seconds to analyze all 7 test results. Even being well prepared, I have a hard time getting it done with an accurate reading. I've found it best to test twice- once analyzing the first 3-4 results and the second analyzing the last 3-4 results. If I don't, the PH result on the bottom is inaccurate as it keeps getting darker, showing a higher PH than what's really in my tank.

I can’t say they don’t do what they say because they do. These strips test the listed parameters and deliver results quickly in an easy to read format. As someone brand new to fish keeping I wish I had been more cognizant of ammonia levels as well. These don’t test for ammonia so I couldn’t figure out why I was losing fish as these strips were reading everything in the OK range. I didn’t realize the ammonia issue until I tested for that specifically with different strips. These are fine but be aware that there are other parameters to be concerned with as well

Bought these but needed some sooner than they'd arrive, so got expensive ones from the store. Once these arrived, I still planned on using these strips. Turns out these test the same as the expensive brand ones, but, BONUS, these test more components of your water and have easy to read "OK" ranges on the bottle!
