Tried this out for the first time for a nine hour flight last week - it's a neck pillow. So it's never going to be anywhere like a normal sleep, unlike the ads like to make you believe. But for a neck pillow it's definitely the least bad I have ever tried. I like the way it sits like a scarf, it's light and easier to attach to a backpack then a traditional neck pillow, and it does provide lots more support than a normal neck pillow. Before the trip, I tried it on just for watching TV at home and actually thought it was so comfy I kept it on for a while to doze a little. It looks a bit more stylish than a neck pillow too. I recommend it, though I think it's still very expensive for what is essentially a scarf and a piece of plastic.

He tenido varias almohadas de viaje (hinchables, de foam, etc...) y solo las usaba para viajes muy largos porque son muy aparatosas. Cojo muchos trenes por trabajo y llegar a una reunión con la almohada de foam colgando no es nada discreto. Esta en cambio me cabe perfectamente en la mochila del portátil y no pesa nada. Sirve tanto para ponertela en la nuca como entre el cuello y el hombro como en las fotos. Yo a veces la uso sin envolverme en cuello con ella y aunque se queda mas inestable también funciona. Estoy muy contenta con la compra.

Langstreckenflüge können die Hölle sein - besonders, wenn sie zu so krummen Zeiten stattfinden, dass ich eigentlich noch nicht in "Schlaflaune" bin, aber dringend schlafen sollte, damit ich am Ziel nicht völlig durch den Wind bin... Und selbst, wenn ich einen Fensterplatz ergattert habe, ist es mit dem Anlehnen nie so bequem, dass ich selig einschlummern kann. Über eine von diesen "20 Dinge, die Deine Reise viel angenehmer machen"-Listen bin ich auf das TRTL Pillow aufmerksam geworden und hab es aus Neugierde bestellt. Erster Eindruck: Sowas kriegt man bestimmt nach einem Autounfall mit mittelschwerem Schleudertrauma verschieben, ABER: Es ist tatsächlich saubequem! Der Stoff ist kuschelig weich, und das Kunststoffgestell im Inneren ist die perfekte Mischung aus stützend und nachgiebig. Mit dem langen Klettverschluss lässt sich das TRTL wunderbar so eng oder weit stellen, wie man möchte, wobei der Halt natürlich bei engem Verschluss deutlich besser ist. Optisch finde ich das Teil sogar um Längen besser als die klassischen Nackenwürste, mit denen ich viele andere Reisende beobachtet habe. Allerdings ist die Optik hier sicher zweitrangig - trägt man das Reisekissen doch hauptsächlich im abgedunkelten Flieger. Der Kopf wird einwandfrei abgestützt, ob man das TRTL nun auf der linken oder auf der rechten Seite trägt. Vorneherum soll es wohl auch gehen, allerdings tendiert man ja meist eher dazu, den Kopf zu einer Seite wegzunicken. Der schalähnliche Fleece-Verschluss mummelt einen dabei schön weich ein. Gepaart mit meiner Schlafmaske und den Ohropax kann ich endlich, endlich, endlich im Flugzeug schlafen, ohne den zehn- oder zwanzigfachen Ticketpreis für eine höhere Klasse ausgeben zu müssen (nicht, dass ich mir das jemals werde leisten können...). Praktisch: Hier muss nichts aufgepustet oder kleingestopft werden; das "Kissen" (ist ja eigentlich keins im klassischen Sinne) ist schmal und ultraleicht und findet deswegen problemlos im Handgepäck Platz oder kann um die Schnalle der Handtasche geklettet werden. Ich hab das TRTL mittlerweile schon vier meiner Freunde aufgeschwatzt, und nach anfänglichem Scherzen sind sie alle ebenso begeistert wie ich. Man verzeihe dieser Rezension den überschwänglichen Klang - aber wer, wie ich, ein Leichtschläfer und jahrelang übermüdet an seinen Zielen angekommen ist, den wird das TRTL ebenfalls sehr schnell sehr euphorisch stimmen!
