Not happy with the plastic build which comes with its cheap price.

It is a great product for small applications. I use it for RC cat and plane model repairs and modifications.

Nice drill station, doesn't need big space, useful for DIY projects

The idea is good but here is a bad design mistake: the drill fixing / rotating parts are all made of plastic whereas should be aluminum. The result is that the drill does not remain rigid no matter how much you tighten the screws. This ruins the performance in a way that cannot be fixed. So bad, I would not have bough it if I had noticed before and regret it every time I use it.

The base fixing screws were missing from the set, and I could not find a nail match of the same size

Ho esitato parecchio prima di procedere all'acquisto viste alcune recensioni che definiscono il prodotto poco professionale per via del fatto che' c'e' molta plastica. 1. Si tratta di policarbonato robusto quanto il metallo 2. Il metallo e' presente dove e' necessario! La barra centrale dove il dremel scorre, la base che puo' essere avvitata al banco di lavoro. 3. Il dremel stesso e' fatto in plastica quindi perche' usare un supporto di metallo e dovere poi impazzire per trovare un adattatore? 4. Il dremel NON e' un utensile professionale ma hobbistico per antonomasia. 5. Il diretto concorrente a cui le tante recensioni facevano riferimento e' il proxxon, un modello di prezzo simile che pero' non viene più' prodotto. Quello che costa meno caro della proxxon costa quasi il doppio del dremel! 6. Un supporto a colonna deve essere robusto, e questo lo e', e deve bloccare l'utensile in modo perfetto di modo che non ci siano movimenti della punta non voluti...e' questo lo fa'. Tutto il resto sono stupidaggini che nulla hanno a che vedere con la bontà' del prodotto. Acquisto consigliato!

I’ve recently invested more into my Dremel setup, and this Dremel 220 workstation has been a great addition. It’s one of those accessories you don’t realise how useful it is until you start using it. Build quality is very good. It looks smart, feels high quality, and once assembled it’s solid and stable on the bench. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take long, with adjustments that are easy to understand and use. In terms of accuracy, it performs well as long as expectations are realistic. There is a small amount of play, but this isn’t a £300+ drill press, and for what it is, the tolerances are perfectly acceptable. For small drilling jobs and detailed work, I’ve had no issues at all, and it’s far more precise and repeatable than working freehand. It adds a lot of control to a Dremel, especially for delicate tasks where consistency matters more than brute force. Switching between drill press-style use and a rotary tool holder is quick and practical. Overall, a very handy and well-made piece of kit. As long as you don’t expect industrial-level precision, it delivers accurate, controlled results and feels like a quality accessory rather than a gimmick.

Well made workstation. It would be better if a simple base clamp system be provided as well.
