My kids love this play oven. They fill the ring with play-doh, put it in the oven, pull down the lever and it gets pressed into a two tier play-doh cake. They think it's great. My 3 year old does need assistance with it and you have to push the lever all the way to the bottom while holding the oven in place. It gets a lot of use and it's fun, one of the most played with play-doh items we have.

Over all, the product is very nice and fun. However, I see two major flaws. One, the little tab on the pan to make the play-doh flip does absolutely nothing to help that. Two, the tube used to squeeze out different shapes is very hard to clean. The turning mechanism for the different shapes is attached via a screw, and due to the small distance between it and the main plastic, play-doh gets stuck between the two. I tried turning the wheel and using a toothpick to get it out, but still couldn't get everything. I can only assume you'd have to use a mini screwdriver to take it apart, but I couldn't get it even loose. Over all, it's fun, just be prepared to use a tool to clean it up and don't expect any flipping.

Very creative set. The baking oven is a great piece of work. My kids love this and it was a great deal to get a discount. It is much bigger than I expected and came with a good amount of playdough. The bake oven took a little figuring out for littles but it does come with a guide on how to use it. Hours of fun! It was bought as a group Xmas gift for siblings and so it was hard to take turns with the bake oven, but they worked it out and ended up loving it. It would be an impressive birthday gift too!

This is a great play-doh set. Super adorable, LOVE how you can fill the pan with "cake batter", then lock it into the stove and use the lever to make the cake "rise". The kids are thrilled with it. NOTE: Make sure the cake pan is "locked" into the oven by sliding it's lower edge under the notches. After pulling the lever, you need to put it back into its original position BEFORE trying to open the oven door. Don't force it or it could break. If the oven door seems hard to open, you probably aren't putting the lever back into position. I only have one complaint about this set, and that is that the colors aren't precisely as promised (the cake stand that was supposed to be silver according to the picture is actually bright orange). Also note that the set will need additional play-doh if you want to make any color of cake other than pink.

Questo set della Play-Doh a tema cucina è stato un regalo apprezzatissimo. Include diversi stampini e accessori che permettono di “preparare” piatti fantasiosi, imitando le attività della cucina in modo creativo e sicuro. È perfetto per sviluppare la manualità fine, la coordinazione e l'immaginazione. La plastilina è morbida, facile da modellare e non si secca subito se riposta bene. I colori sono vivaci e stimolanti, e gli strumenti inclusi sono robusti, pensati per l’uso da parte di bambini piccoli. Mia figlia si diverte tantissimo a inventare ricette e servire piatti "finti" con grande entusiasmo. Un gioco creativo e stimolante, che tiene impegnati i bambini anche per lunghi periodi. Ottimo sia per giocare da soli che con un adulto.
