For hanging between trees, what is the minimum needed distance, & also what is the maximum distance?

I'm sorry but I bought this hammock for my grandson and it has not been put up yet.

Is the metal eye reinforcement supposed to come out of the loop? I'm wondering if this is a defect.

Wrong size

Bought two of these. The first was bigger. Had to use caribeeners on the second for the same hammock stand as it was significantly smaller!

Prima hangmat met goede spullen voor ophanging aan bomen. Wil je jezelf helemaal in de hangmat op kunnen rollen (geen zonlicht op je Ipad bijvoorbeeld), neem dan een iets bredere.
