This soil has never disappointed me. I used miracle grow for a long time but have purchased bags with pests and found there is a lot of cheap filler in it now. I have a lot of plants and i don’t need the hassle of dealing with an infestation. If you’ve ever dealt with that you know what a process it can be. This FoxFarm soil doesn’t have big chunks of wood filler. It’s nice and smooth. It has perlite in it though I usually add a touch more. I think everybody has their preferences as far as modifying their soil. Most importantly my plants do well with this. It’s more expensive than a lot of brands, but to me it’s totally worth it knowing that I’m getting a clean healthy product for my plants.

I do a plethora of gardening here in New England and when ever I plant anything, I use FoxFarm soil. It has the perfect blend of nutrients to get any home gardening project off and running!

Best soil ever. I was using miracle grow previously which was a big mistake. It kept giving gnats and mold. I switched to this and it fixed both problems!

Used this when transplanting peppers and tomatoes from peat pellets to 3" peat pots. After a period of time under commercial grow light then went into the ground after stripping the peat pots off. I also added a half scoop and fertilizer into the hole before putting them in the ground.

I've been using Happy Frog Soil for about 4 months now for veggies and herbs. When I transplanted my basil, rosemary and other herbs, along with a decent watering, they immediately grew at least 2-3 times the size overnight! For bigger growing herbs, the soil is a bit to dense. I added a 35-40% promix to them and it makes all the difference in root development. In considering value, HF is a good value bc it packs all the nutrients you need for the first few months and it's ph balanced. You still need to ensure your water ph is at recommended levels though. Overall, it's a nice rich soil with a healthy smell. As far as bugs/ants, I have not seen any in this shipment. Ensure your grows are stable and healthy by using Happy Frog Soil!
