Brilliant for really tight lower back/glutes
One of the best things I've bought for back pain. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and my lower back is always locked tight. I have spent a fortune on various gadgets over the years, most to be thrown away - but this was a brilliant purchase. It's very heavy, but what I find brilliant is I can control exactly where it's going and your own weight gives the pressure you need. This isn't for you if you can't handle deep pressure, but for those of us who need deep and intense relief, it's perfect. You can also move yourself to get to the painful bits, and it really does give good pain relief in that area after using it. It's very well made, you can tell it's a quality item and should last for years if you're concerned about the price. I find it very easy to use; it just takes a few minutes to work out the best spots on your back for you. I also have the lobster made by the same company for the shoulder area, which I also find helpful.

Excellent piece of kit
Excellent piece of kit.... Forget Physio, acupuncture, osteopaths, posture straps etc... Just purchase Little Mum ... If you don't want the pain do the treatment on something soft like a bed... If you can stand the pain do the treatment on a hard floor.. Within a few days you will walk straighter and your back will be less painful.

The King of knot removal!
OK, this item is excellent and works as described. If, like me, you have suffered with muscle knots in your back and general tightness, then this may be the tool for you. I have tried various rollers, both hard and soft, tennis balls, back stretcher etc. The relief this item provides is what I had sought from all the rest, but to no avail. My hips, lower and upper back have completely loosened up, after using this for about 10 minutes. You get what you pay for in life and after the first use I certainly didnโt regret it!

Watch the video for correct positioning as not highlighted in the booklet
I thought these were really quite expensive. However the first thing you notice when you get them is the weight in them - thereโs quite a bit! They also seem really well made with good quality materials. They provide 15 yr warranty so clearly believe in their product. Thereโs an instruction booklet that covers both the massagers they produce. Itโs ok, gives a little information about the muscles being targeted and symptoms it can help with alleviating. Some pictures and description of how to use the massager. Iโm more of a visual person so thought Iโd watch the video - oh my! Itโs very dull, not the most charismatic person to explain the product (sorry mate). Maybe just skip through to where he shows you how to use the massager as thatโs quite useful to see, as I think positioning of these things is vital to correct use - and for this one I donโt think the pictures explain properly as you need it different orientations for different areas youโre working on, so the video was helpful... for massaging top to bottom of the spine you have the large flat nodes facing your feet, for your glutes, have the large flat nodes facing your head. I didn't find I currently needed a massage at the top of my back but about middle back I could feel the benefits were needed. And found the gluteus area needed the most work. Use on a bed if you want a less intense experience. You definitely feel it! Bearable for about 10 mins and surprisingly nice relaxed feeling afterwards. Never had a massage before so donโt know cost, but for continual use this probably works out an ok price, though obviously this is only targeting one area.

OMG
I have spikey balls I've used for years, plus many other bits including a ma roller which has helped me alot. But this was such a lovely surprise, like nothing I've ever tried before. You just sink into it & feel like your knots & tight 'melt' away. Wish I'd got it years ago, trapezius LittleMum very good also. Slow movement of the arms in various ways really hits on the trigger points.

Surprisingly good to use!
Initially I was concerned about the high cost of the item. Then it arrived I can see it is well made, and looks very durable. But the best bit is that it helps you a lot with your back. So after using it a few times I no longer concerned about how expensive the item was to buy.

Very happy with this 'tool'! YES, it's expensive, consider it an investment & utilize HSA if you have one! The quality of this thing is phenomenal & it's heavy! I believe it will last forever & I don't have to worry about my kids breaking it! The 'massager bumps' are firm and placed perfectly. Underneath is more flexible and the holes allow for just the right 'give' for me to relax & put down all my weight while laying on. They really did their homework when making this! You can adjust the pressure by putting a pillow under your back(above or below) if needed, I think that works a little better than trying to hold yourself up. It really works & I love that it's versatile & can be used on different parts of your body. I mostly sit all day for work & suffer from lower back pain that can get pretty intense (which led me to find this) and just laying on this for a few min makes a huge difference for me! I start with my knees bent &feet flat on the floor, then push off with my feet, to create a little rocking motion. Then I just lay still & alternate putting one leg down straight, then both down together & hold in each position for a min or 2, longer if I have time. It loosens up my tight back and I'm usually able to crack it after using this, providing additional relief! Just flip it around & put it under your butt (you'll thank me later!) I didnt know I needed it for that but it feels amazing & helps with my back, hips and legs too! You can wiggle a little side to side or rock up and down, but for lower back I prefer dropping my knees (together) from side to side with feet on the ground to simulate more of a massage feel but just laying on it works wonders for me! I wish I would have found this sooner! It's saving me from the out of pocket chiropractor visits after my insurance says I've had enough for the year lol which has helped justify the cost. I took it with when camping for a week, one of the best decisions I've ever made! Sleeping on an air mattress, I could barely move when I woke up. I used this everyday as soon as I woke up (stiff & in pain) and I was like a different person after! Comes with a nice little instruction book, give it a try if you're on the fence!

Es mucho mรกs de lo que esperaba, su calidad es muy buena y la firmeza que te da para tocar los puntos de la espalda es impresionante. Una verdadera herramienta de tratamiento para contracturas.

As someone with piriformis syndrome, this is one of the best tools for helping to release very tight, deep muscle pains really well. I am so glad I made the investment in this because it is really helping me. I had been using one of those balls filled with air, but it is hard to keep stable on, and I find this device to be much better at allowing me to control the areas I need deeper pressure on, where the ball is good, but hard to move on it, as it slips out all the time from movement. You could try a foam roller, but again, it is much harder to roll on for me. This is exactly what I needed for regular use to release those tightened muscles. Love that I find it much easier to use and because of that, I am able to have much better, quicker relief. Highly recommend this if you have deep, tight muscles in your hips/butt area. This brand is sturdy and I believe will last a long time with consistent use. Worth the money for me. This way, I can effectively get that deep work done at home.

As a professional massage, therapist, and a person who loves to work out I highly recommend this little gadget. Take it easy at first.
