I would like to use this cleanser alone. My question is can I use cold water instead of warm water to apply it and to wash it off? thank you

I use the cleanser alone and hydrate with almond oil. I've always heard that using cold water is better than warm in the morning because it closes your pores. I use cold water in the morning and warm at night and it works fine for me!

Question 2

Does this product still contain quaternium-15, a Formaldehyde-releasing preservative which can aggravate skin and is carcinogenic?

Thank you for contacting us. Yes we do have the Quaternium-15 on the ingredients list but in trace amounts to preserve the product. It shouldn't have any adverse effects on your skin even if used daily The ingredients of the Acne.org Cleanser is as follows:

Water, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Glycerin, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, PEG-150 Distearate, Sodium Laureth 13 Carboxylate, Disodium Cocamphodiacetate, Butylene Glycol, Sage Extract, Cucumber Extract, White Oak Bark Extract, Panthenol, Allantoin, Acrylates Copolymer, Methylgluceth-20, Polysorbate-20, Quaternium-15, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA.

Does anyone else have problems with extremely dry skin from this set? What can I do to prevent extremely dry skin from this product?

Use the acne.org jojoba oil. It will help with dryness. Try to start slowly to check if your skin will react. Apply only at night. If you’ve been using the set for a few month start using the glycolic cream as well. It will help with acne scars and skin turnover.
