Canon RF 24 105mm F4L IS USM Lens

i am getting err 60 after 3 months of purchasing this lens. unfortunately the store that i bought does not offer canon warranty so have to now pay to have it repaired. i bough the lens form Tradezone.-1 storefront

The lens missed focus several times... about 40% of the time, even when focused manually, using focus peaking. Not sure if it is a general problem or just with the particular lens I received. For such an expensive zoom lens, this is quite unacceptable especially considering it's a professional grade L lens. Had to return it.

Good lens, but not good in low light, I found it struggeling with some of the situations I wanted to shoot in so I changed it over to a 24-70 2.8

This is the best Rf Lens i bought instead of bringing 2 or 3 l'ensemble. Just bring this Lens.

Ho acquistato questo obiettivo separatamente dalla mia Canon Eos R e ho beneficiato della promo Canon in corso fino ad ottobre 2019 ottenendo in una settimana un rimborso di ben 200 euro. Ma ora veniamo all'obiettivo; è una serie L e si sposa benissimo con il corpo della nuova Eos R anche se consiglio l'impugnatura porta batteria originale in quanto il peso complessivo con questi obiettivo diventa importante. La messa a fuoco è fulminea, le foto da 30mb pixel sono "piene di imformazioni" con una qualità impressionante. Non rimpiango obiettivi con più ampia apertura in quanto per mettere a fuoco l'intero viso di una persona o di un particolare mon occorre spingersi oltre l'F4. L' effetto bouquet è perfetto anche con questo obiettivo zoom che lo considero il classico tuttofare ma con qualità elevata; si passa da un grandangolo da ª quasi un tele 105 con un'apertura F4 costante su tutta la focale (incredibile). Materiali in plastica ma molto piacevoli al tatto con un senso di solidità ed effetto premium che mi aspettavo. Paraluce perfetto compreso nella confezione come la pratica custodia morbida. Probabilmente con il tempo affianchero' un teleobiettivo 70-200 prossimo all'uscita con attacco FR per completare il tutto. Buon shopping.

I have to admit that I never owned an L lens and have recently upgraded (to R6) from an APS-c crop sensor 12 year old DSLR. The lens itself is amazingly quiet and fast. And I mean Fast with a capital F. The lens is a surprisingly sharp from corner to corner at any given focal length which is something that I personally never seen before. My old nifty fity F1.8 from Canon, Sigma and Tamron lenses always had image quality problems when fully opened which doesn't happen on this RF 24-105mm. The range of the 24-105 focal length is very convenient too as you don't have to get very close to the subject and you also have the option to go relatively wide indoors or when shooting landscape (or architecture). Haven't tried night sky photography yet though, but I think that it will perform great. The compression at the end of the focal length also makes this lens very nice for portraits, or when you simply want to separate your subject from the background - and all this without spending the premium of lets say 24-70mm F2.8, which is just brilliant and I love it! The F4 aperture is no issue for the new mirrorless cameras as they work amazing with high ISO, plus they also support in body image stabilisation, so if needed you can shoot without any issues with low shutter speeds when your subject isn't moving. The built quality is also amazing for a lens that's mostly plastic (high quality) and rubber. When you hold it feels very dense and the weight is well balanced. Personally I think that I won't be needing to upgrade to any other lens for a very very long time :)

EF24-105mm f4L IS USMからの買い換えですが、解像感も向上してAFの速度も早くなり満足しています。 Rシステムにはうれしいコントロールリングも付いているので、操作性も上がっています。 また重量は若干増えていますが個人的には気になりません。 レンズのロックもあるので、ストラップでの移動中にレンズが勝手に伸びてしまうこともないです。 全体的に満足で、早く買い替えれば良かったと感じました。

Ich fotografiere seit 20 Jahren sehr aktiv und mit professionellem Anspruch. Ich habe einige EF Objektive in L Qualität an verschiedenen Body's der 5er Serie (5DII, 5DIII, 5DsR) genutzt und bereits zwei 24-105 Objektive (Canon EF L Serie und Sigma). Nach der Erweiterung auf eine spiegellose R5II habe ich nun auch das RF 24-105. Es ist deutlich kürzer als das EF mit Adapter und fühlt sich leichter an. Der Autofokus ist schneller und nahezu lautlos. Nach ein paar ersten Testaufnahmen ist es schnell, leise und scharf. Obwohl ich viele andere Objektive habe nutze ich zu 95% das 24-105. Die 4er Offenblende ist völlig ok. Feines Bokeh kann man auch bekommen, wenn man bei 105mm und Ofenblende dank Makrofunktion näher an das Objekt/Subjekt herangehen. Ich fotografiere hauptsächlich Menschen und mehr Offenblende ist manchmal nicht hilfreich, weil die Schärfentiefe zu gering wird und zwar das Auge scharf ist, die Nasenspitze und der Haaransatz aber schon deutlich unscharf. Wenn dann der Fokus nicht 100% sitzt, ist das Ergebnis nicht gut. Aus meiner Sicht ein tolles und sehr vielseitiges Objektiv, das trotz Makro und Bildstabilisator noch sehr erschwinglich ist (insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen RF Objektiven) und nicht zu schwer oder groß ist. Klare Empfehlung.
