Doesn't cover grey at all and washes out after 2 shampoos at best

The color is very dark. I needed the Black to cover my grades and it worked very well. I bought more than one the next time out.

I used a toner on my blonde and brown hair which lifted my roots and lowlights an to a bright orange/red color (photo on the left). I didn't want to dye or bleach my roots so I used this to cover them. It worked really well, it didn't bleed onto my highlights. A little red shows through the brown but it looks like natural roots instead of copper. It should last a few shampoos. May not work for long term color but it's perfect if you need a quick root fix or blending.

I have been using hair colour for awhile (3rd bottle) and I highly recommend it. Great coverage and it covers the grey hair really well. The best product I have ever used for grey coverage.

I chose rosewood brown, and the color came out so nicely. My hair before was not completely virgin because I was using henna to color my gray hair. Because of the binding properties of henna, I was concerned that using a permanent dye would color my hair green. I opted instead to go with a semi-permanent color, and I am glad I did. I love the color and shine. Follow-up one year later. I have used this product consistently and have had no damage to my hair or its integrity. I love how soft and hydrated my hair feels after using the color. My natural hair, aside from my greys, is dark brown. The rosewood color lifts my hair color to a nice auburn and my grays to a strawberry blonde color.

Works great at covering greys. You have to cover your head with a shower cap or something plastic under a towel otherwise it doesn't work. The instructions aren't clear. When I first used it nothing happened, so I tried covering my head and voila! I leave it in for about 40 minutes. I retouch every 2-3 weeks. The colour starts to fade after a couple of weeks, so my greys end up looking like copper highlights - I have received quite a few compliments. I like this dye because there is zero damage to my type 4 natural hair. The only thing is that I wish it were cheaper. Luckily I am only grey at the front so one bottle lasts a long time because I use it only where it is needed.
