I don't usually write reviews, but this one deserves it! I bought an Alienware M17X computer and I needed a case. Of course, like many people on these blogs, I spent a great deal of time researching the limited number of bags/cases that would fit this computer. You can check the dimensions of this computer on the Alienware website. Overall, this case provides the absolute best protection money can buy. Pros: Black inner cover is very useful. Fits like a glove on the M17X and provides excellent protection against shake and rattle. Outer shell is solid high impact plastic. Overall, built like a rock! Someone mentioned that they dropped their computer and case in the water and later recovered it bone dry. Looking at this case, you can easily see why this is true. Would probably deflect a bullet, but not an armour-piercing round. Easy to see why military members like this case. Also, fits under airline seat very well. Cons: There is just enough room to allow for the power brick and a small surge protector. There is also some room for light paperwork only. Looks rather imposing - dark black case with latches on 3 sides. Women may want to consider the Desert Tan model. Looks less imposing. Finally, like others have noted it does weigh much more than a soft bag. Calculate the total weight of your computer and add the dry weight of this bag. Not a real problem for me, but may be for others. Would I send this back to Amazon? No way! This is by far the best protection for an expensive large-screen computer money can buy. Pelican has a long reputation for very high quality cases. I have a small one for my camara. Those who want more room for gaming equipment should consider a roller bag/case. Hope this helps!

everything is awesome except that it’s a tad heavy which is probably a by-product of its protectiveness

Excellente qualité!
