Yes everything is plastic. The lid and outer container are a harder plastic though.

Can i fold a paper towel and fit it under it and close it for added moisture absorbing?

Sure but I would use the smaller sized towel.

Keeps fruit edible for at least twofold if contents washed before using. Keeps grapes and cherries fresh and firm. Easy to wash. Initially bought 1, now have 3.

Perfect size

This container is the perfect size for a qut of berries. The outer liner catches any water drips and the inner liner lets the berries breathe. I've had little or no mushy or mouldy berries, they keep in the fridge longer than a week.
