does it clear up acne scars?

No, it doesn’t. I’ve been using St. Ives for years, maybe over 15. It doesn’t clear scars. I does, however; helps reduce acne. It’s an instant skin softer too and that’s why I personally like it (besides the unnecessary added fragrance).

Is this good for combination skin?

Yes, it is. My skin as I got older is drier than it was. It is still oily at times in spots. I believe you will like it. Hope this helps.

Does anyone else’s smell like chemicals?

I'm sorry. I don't know the answer to this. St. Ives smells ok to me.

Can this be used as a daily facial wash?

I don't use it everyday so I don't know about a daily wash.
