Yes, the heat resistant glove is always included. The iron is so hot, you really can't use it without a glove.

Is this okay for fine hair ?

My hair is fine, and I found that it works better than any other iron I've ever used. Holds curl much better. Just be sure to use heat protectant spray, because fine hair is damaged more easily.
