Perseverance is the key....and patience.
They are extremely fiddly and slippery, even without the cellophane on top. The title says it all really. I make preserves and jams throughout the year and have made and bought covers. As I was away from home and staying with my son i made some jam for his work colleagues and wanted to dress them up, and so bought the covers. I almost gave up. They look nice, but not to my usual standard, hence the ribbon, to make it astheticly pleasing, and stuck it with sticky tape to secure it. I will not buy them again, and do not recommend.

A load of rubbish
Was expecting cloth/gingham. Comes as pattern printed on glossy paper. Ridiculous. Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering n wasting my money. The elastic bands just ping off. One hit me in the eye so at least i cant see how crap they are now! DO NOT BUY

The pot covers are far too stiff to be able to neatly cover my jars of preserves.
As I stated the pot covers are far too stiff to be able to neatly cover my preserves. And, although i ordered them from Amazon DE they came from UK so import tax had to be paid. In total, for 12 covers I paid over 11 euros! As I am making preserves to sell for charity this extra expense does not make economic sense! A very disappointing purchase.
