What/why is it about the product that says the cream is used for burns but not the gel??

Gel cools instantly but in less than 30min to be absorbed and re applied every 30 min. The cream has fat that can be absorbed easier and stay on effectively healing the area

does this product contain methylaparaben as listed here? How is it then natural and homeopathic?

I'm sure the ingredient list is correct. As far as the second part of your question, that is up to how you define those terms and how strict you are about it. I know you can buy the ingredients separately and make your own, I'm too busy for that personally.

how long to see a difference

It depends what you are using it for. I use it on my grandkids on sunburn's (they live at the beach), in addition to rashes/irritation from poison oak and poison ivy. Instant relief to pain and itching and it reduces the intensity of the burn and heals it twice as fast, far far better than aloe. This is the most versatile helpful gel I have every used! It's awesome!
