There's a lot of scamming in supplement and vitamin land. It's hard to find a consistently high-quality company --this is one of them. Every product I've had from this company is high quality. That's critical because it's not a very well-regulated industry and where the product is sourced matters. It's not enough that it is technically the same substance for me it has to be the naturally occurring bioavailable, and i applicable, contain co-ingrediants to make it effective. Solgar, and a few other companies, are on top of this and reliable. In particular if you are trying to, as I was, follow studies to offset NSAID cardio risk with L-Arginine you need it to be reliable. It's pricier but I'd rather not take it than take something inferior, maybe ineffective, maybe harmful, which would defeat the purpose. If you are going to use this product, you might want to consider Ornithine as well as they have beneficial effects in concert. I've changed too many factors in my diet/lifestyle to isolate this one with certainty as responsible for my noticeably stronger, more intense workouts with a much shorter recovery time post lifting or aerobic like swimming or running but it does seem to help. Anyway, if you take a lot of NSAIDS do the research and I think you'll see what I saw fairly definitively. And if so, Solgar is a good way to go.
