Yes thats right people they are awful socks and you shouldn't buy them.!!!All three pairs I have are just awful and that.These are absolutely fantastic socks they feel great on, the are comfortable, really really well made!Highly recommend them and its really really hard to describe but they go on kinda like a shoe your heel seems to feel like its locked in.I wish DoD would supply these socks rather than the rubbish ones they do.My feet some seem to sweat and there is zero smell after being in combat boots all day..I just dont want people to drive the prices up to high hence the joke!Want good socks Fox River hit the mark

As I write this, I am wearing these socks with my new UA Infilops boots.I have about 3 or 4 pair of Fox River socks (ankle high, or mid calf), they are great socks. What I like most about them is the spandex blend, so they fit nice and snug and they're not "Grabby" in my shoes, so they don't bunch up possibly giving you blisters or the potential to get blisters.They wash beautifully and I've been wearing my other Fox River socks for years now, and they literally don't show any wear. great socks, I highly recommend them, they are on par with Farm to Feet socks as well, roughly about the same in terms of quality, design and wearbility.I have yet to wash these, just got them yesterday and wearing a pair today, but they seem to be not midcalf, they're almost over the calf, so I'm sure they'll shrink maybe 1/4" or so. But if you're wearing a taller boot, not a "hiker" they're perfect. Nice and warm, and not too thick, and you slide in and out of your boots easily because of that.

I was skeptical of these as i have very messed up feet and have a very hard time finding the right boot sock that being said these went above and beyond , my feet were comfortable and dry all day . They feel a bit odd at first not like other socks but once you have them on they are great .

I purchased these Fox River Wick Dry Maximum military socks on Amazon for my son, who is currently serving in the Marine Corps and deployed in extreme, hot weather conditions. He wears his combat boots seven days a week, so comfortable, high-performing socks are essential.Even though I wasn't able to get a photo of them, he has mentioned that these socks make a huge difference. They effectively keep moisture away from his feet and prevent sweat from keeping his feet wet, which helps keep his feet dry and comfortable inside his heavy boots all day long. I would recommend that If you have a loved one serving in the military or working long shifts in tough, hot conditions, these socks are worth getting. True to the size and so far have washed several times and have NOT had any issue with them shrinking. Once I’m able to get a photo of my Marine wearing them I will update the review or make a separate one.
