I can breathe!!!!!
Of course, Iโve been seeing ads for these things for decades. Iโve seen them on athletes, and in magazines. Yet somehow, I never connected this product to me. Which is crazy. 15 years ago, I was diagnosed with a severe deviated septum, problems with the turbinates, (whatever that is) and major swelling and growth in the sinuses. My ENT wanted to do surgery to correct the deviation and turbinates and ream out my sinuses, which is what he said. It sounded horrible. Iโd never had surgery and wasnโt going to start by packing gauze into my head. So, to breathe, I became an Afrin addict. Later added Flonase. And then I got cancer and did lots of surgeries, but years later Iโm still on chemo and so cannot do elective surgery, so my sinuses stay as is. The chemo, afrin, and structural problems mean I canโt breathe and have a constantly runny nose. I mean, it drips like water out of a faucet, and I always-and I do mean always- have a tissue in one hand. I came across these on Amazon and recognized them, but still didnโt connect them to me. But I was scientifically interested in how something you put on the outside of the nose can help you breathe, so I bought it, more out of curiosity than anything. I put my first one on at bedtime. I was shocked by how much air I took in. In fact, I wasnโt sure I liked it as there was so much airflow my throat got dry and I could feel it in my head. (We mouth breathers feel air in our lungs, not noses). It felt strange to take full breaths. I slept with it on that night, and it stuck just fine, so fine I had difficulty getting it off. That morning, for the first time in many years, I didnโt wake up gasping for air with my mouth dried out. And that isnโt a joke. I did always wake up gasping, like a fish out of water, until my first squirt of Afrin kept right on my nightstand. Very unpleasant. But with Breathe Right on, I wake up like a woman in a commercial, smiling, mouth closed, not anguished. Oh, I still need the Afrin but itโs no longer a desperate feeling. I can get to it when I do, Iโm not feeling like Iโm out of air. Iโve worn them every night since. I need to wear them during the day too, to see if I can control some of the drippings and cut down on the afrin. I would like to get off that stuff. Iโm getting so much air that Iโm not quite used to it yet-amazing how you get used to not breathing. It may be that Iโve had a deviated septum my entire life and didnโt know it. I was plagued with morning headaches. It feels weird to breathe but Iโm getting used to it. I know I told a long story but they really are amazing. I bought the heavy and the regular/small. I have a small face and the smaller ones work just as well for me although tonight is the first time I will sleep in this size. So far, I have to say this is one of the few products that live up to what they say, and itโs pretty amazing.

These work to reduce snoring
Simple, low-tech way to keep nasal passages open when sleeping. My partner says I snore less. I agree with other reviews that have noted how hard this is on sensitive skin. I put a little petroleum jelly just on the bridge of my nose before putting one of these on at night--they don't need to adhere to the bridge, just to the sides. This doesn't interfere with the function of the strip, but it does make it easier to take it off in the morning without skin damage.

Works well
These work real well for me. To remove the adhesive I have purchased here on Amazon a medical adhesive remover which works well. Also one can use a textured wash cloth and gently rub the glue off.
