Love these books! 🩷
Richard Scarry was one of my favorite authors as a kid and now I get to share it with my family. The symbols on the plane are not Nazi, they are inspired on the Red Baron (WWI). Also these types of books tell the story using more of the illustrations rather than the text, that is why there are short sentences and lots of illustrations. It's more for quiet reading instead of today's fast paced tv and tech. Something that helps with children is to read the story but also make funny sound effects for the illustrations and ask them questions about what they see, helps them get engaged and they end up using their imagination to make up stories with the illustrations. Keep in mind the author was from a different time so these books might not be for everyone! :)That being said I love the illustrations and the stories, they take me back to my childhood years ✨

My favorite as a child now passing on to my grandchildren. Great book to bring to a reveal party where everyone who is there can sign their name and guess!!

My niece(2) loved the book. Spent most of her “ after opening “ time looking thru and having it read to her. Pictures captured her attention and she wanted to share it with her Mom.
