Fitbit Alta Classic Accessory Band, Teal Large

I'm sorry I didn't order the small band with the original purchase. I've got thinner wrists than some men (watches usually take the second to last notch), so this one fits well. I run and work out a lot, so there's a bit of salt staining on the band; I don't know if this shows up as much on the lighter colored bands. Good fit, has only popped off once (while digging around in a bookbag). Latch device isn't hard to master.

Perfect fit and high quality. My wife like this one better than the one that originally came on her fitbit. I tried to save a few bucks and get a knock-off brand one first, but only wasted my money on a piece of crap. This one is a real fitbit strap and looks and works perfectly.

The band is sturdy vinyl that is smooth on the inside and has a bit of grip/texture on the outside, it doesn't really stick to you like I thought it would with a sweaty arm. The octagon closure/snap/button seemed to separate from the band as I tried to get it on the first few times and I thought I was breaking it. I haven't had any issues with it since. It is very easy to change out the face of the Fitbit; the place that you release it does move pretty smoothly. I usually have trouble with that on many type things. I have arthritis in my thumb and forefinger so I found it very hard to snap on to close the band on my wrist. I did find that some people used olive oil on a toothpick to help buckle it closed, that is the only way I did get it on finally, but not without pain. I did snap it together and apart several times off my arm first to try to loosen it up. Since you don't have to take it off more than once a day typically for a shower I think it will be fine.. My wrist measures 6-3/4, I bought the large band and it clasps on hole 3 and 4 closest to the Fitbit; there are a total of 11 holes in the band, so I have 7 available holes to make it bigger.

One of the great things about owning an Alta is the ability to change out the bands. I wear my Alta all day, every day, so I purchased the pink, black, and plum ones, which I alternate with my original teal band. They're easy to attach and have held up well. I have noticed that the pink and teal tend to pick up dirt a bit more easily, but this is easily remedied with some gentle soap and a little scrubbing every once in a while. Amazon is so far the only place I've seen FitBit OEM bands in any color but black. Add in a discount on most colors, and I'm a very happy camper.

Although this band works as intended and I love the color, I am not happy that it is impossible to clean AND it seems to soak in every little bit of grunge it can pick up. I swear to God, this picture was taken 10 days after I put it on for the first time. Absolutely nothing can take it off. I soaked them in Dawn and vinegar, then scrubbed with 99 % Isopropyl alcohol and it didn't even touch it. Stick with the darker colors. Yuck.

In the 12 months I have owned my Fitbit Alta, I have had used 3 bands for it. The first OMF band that came with the product started peeling away from the clasps less than 3 months after purchasing. I purchased this band in August 2017 to replace the original band. Today, 1/29/2018, I woke to find the band had completely pulled away from the band while I was sleeping. This is infuriating to me. You spend money for a product that is manufactured directly by Fitbit at the Fitbit price, and get shoddy product that can't hold together for more than a few months at a time under light to medium usage. I'm incredibly disappointed. I am now on my third band in 12 months. You can bet I will never buy another Fitbit product, for myself or anyone I know.

OEM product, fits the Alta unit well and works as expected, decent quality. Only negative is the two metal pins that are used to attach the bands together, which is difficult to engage. While wrapped around your wrist, you need to pinch between the pins/band to "snap" the pins into the holes of the band. It will take practice. The old standard buckle is much easier to use. Somewhat overpriced but expected for an OEM accessory.

Couldn't find basic band in stores, had to order on line! It lasted one year, so I believe it worth the money! I love it!!

Ya tenia rato que se había roto la que traía el reloj por default. La había buscado pero el precio se me hacia cara para lo que era así que reparaba la otra hasta que encontré esta a un precio mucho menor. La primera era grande y la que pedí fue la chica. cuando la saque pensé que no me quedaría pero apenas me ajusto la muñeca y quedo perfecto. Viene en su empaque original de FitBit

Ich bin eine gegeisterte FitBit-Trägerin und beim Alta finde ich es einfach, dass die Bänder auswechselt werden können. Das Material ist robust und wird nicht schmutzig. Die Bänder sind leicht zu wechseln und die Passform ist wie in der Verpackung angegeben. Die Farbe ist wirklich schwarz, wirkt etwas matt aber sieht super aus.
