Best product ever
It helped me pass a 5.3 mm stone on my first try, and recently, a 6.4 mm stone as well. Highly recommended!

Does seem to work for me, detailed story below.
I waited for a long time before I posted this review because I wanted to see and track my stones to understand how well this stuff actually works. Let me start with a brief history of my kidney stones. I am a man of 29 years of age. My first stone experience I believe occurred when I was 24, but that episode went un-diagnosed. About 2 years ago I had my first experience that I had to be hospitalized for. That was a 3.6 mm stone and it was excruciating, as bad as any story you've heard. About 5 months after that episode, I had a day where I could not work because of the pain but it was not excruciating nor did I pass a stone. 2 months after that I passed another excruciating stone that was only about 2mm. Nothing after that until last march (2015) where I started to have intermittent pain. I had changed jobs by this point and had good healthcare with Kaiser so I went in for a scan. They found quite a few stones in me. One 3 mm stone in my left ureter (causing present pain), one or possibly two stones stuck together measuring 7x6 mm also in my left kidney, and another 4 mm stone in my right kidney. The pain came and went over the next two months, the 3 mm stone in my left ureter would not budge. I took Tamsulosin that was prescribed by the doctor but it made me very lethargic and didn't seem to be helping at all. In early May 2015, the stone had gotten stuck at the bottom 1/3 of the ureter. The pain had gotten to a point that it was persisting for a matter of days. I got desperate and started looking for any information I could find. I came across Chanca Piedra as a possible solution. Being the skeptic that I am, I didn't think much of it but I figured since my local grocery store Sprouts had a 1 ounce bottle for only 13 dollars, it was certainly worth a shot. I bought it, took a small dose and didn't think much about it. I was still in pain and considering Ureteroscopy, a painful and invasive procedure, so I started reading more about this brand of Chanca Piedra and reading the hundreds of positive reviews. It was then that I decided I had to start taking this multiple times a day and give it a real shot. By the second day of taking this Herb Pharm Stone Breaker multiple times per day, the pain I had been experiencing for months disappeared; and never came back. I gave it some time, still taking the Stone Breaker solution a few times a day. I went in for a scan a couple months later. The new scan showed that the 3 mm stone that was in my left ureter could no longer be found. I had not found it in my urine nor did I feel any pain, so I was feeling good that this stuff helped pass or break up the stone. I asked the doctor about my other stones. She said "it doesn't look like they've changed, the stone in my left kidney was still 6 mm and the stone in my right kidney was still 3 mm"; but wait a second, didn't she tell me 7 mm and 4 mm before? Yes she did. I considered this great news as the stones definitely had not gotten bigger nor did I have any new stones. At this point, I was definitely feeling good about Herb Pharm's Stone Breaker and I decided to buy the larger bottle and continue a regimen of taking it 2-3 times a day in addition to the other changes I made. I only made 3 changes during this time. One was taking the Stone Breaker. The next was avoiding a bad habit I had which was drinking whiskey and then falling asleep afterwards only to wake up in the middle of the night dehydrated. Now I make sure to drink plenty of water before bed, especially if I have a drink. The third change was cutting out extremely high oxalate foods such as spinach, chard and beets as my stones are calcium oxalate. I did not make any other changes and I do believe the Chanca Piedra is solely responsible for helping me pass the 3mm stone pain free. Now, fast forward to the present. After almost six months of no pain, no communication with the doctor, and staying pretty consistent with the changes I had made, I got another scan just yesterday. The doctor can no longer find the '3 mm' stone that was in my right kidney, it almost 'magically' seems to have disappeared. I don't recall passing it or having any pain. The rather large stone that is in my left kidney is still there but has not gotten bigger. I don't know if it has gotten smaller, I'm not sure the doctor would acknowledge that as a possibility, as stones don't tend to get smaller by themselves. But my outlook is looking much better, as there is still no new stones and I should be able to break this one up with shock wave therapy. Let me tell you, that's a lot better than the ureteroscopy I was considering back in May before this product came into my life. Hopefully, the shock wave therapy will be successful and I can get this last stone out of me and never get them again. I'm going to continue to take this supplement on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future as I do believe it helps. Will it magically dissolve all your stones overnight? I don't think so. Will it help smooth them out and make passing the stones easier? I think, definitely. Will it possibly make them smaller, if only slowly? I think, probably. Will it help prevent new stones from forming or getting started? I do think so. If you suffer from regular stones this is definitely worth a good honest shot. I hope this detailed account of my experience will help people like myself that like to see a little more than "It works!" or "Didn't work for me!". There hasn't been any controlled studies on this stuff yet that prove it's effectiveness one way or the other, but for the price of dinner, it's definitely worth a shot. Update 12/2015: I just finished up with my doctor reviewing how the lithotripsy worked on my 6mm stone. This is the procedure where they break stones apart with shock waves. I won't go into details about the procedure but the outcome was that the stone blasted very easily. The doctor could not find any traces of any stones anywhere on the X-Ray. Her words were "You're the poster child for lithotripsy, we couldn't have gotten a better result." When I mentioned this supplement to her, she wasn't interested in hearing about it, but I think the fact that the stone blasted so easily in the lithotripsy is just another piece of evidence that this supplement did in fact work for me. When I look at the timeline and all the events, I'm simply convinced. It's too bad there is no incentive to fund any rigorous studies on things like this so that doctor's could start recommending it.

Truly AMAZING!! Beats the Alternative!
If you’re skeptical, please read! I was too and it was the true reviews that allowed me to take the plunge in this LIFE CHANGING product. I never write reviews and usually move on with life whether the product is good or not. However, you all can hoped gain some insight on this product and help avoid clinics or emergency rooms again. A little background, I started getting Kidney Stones about 19 years ago. 2nd one was 5 years later, then 3 years, then 2 years and so on. The LAST kidney stone I had got stuck, blocked the ureter, then got stuck in my kidney. All in all, after 6 surgeries, 4 stents, and 3 months of bed rest from the damage that was done to my kidney, the stone finally came out. Crazy thing is that it wasn’t that big, but it sure created havoc in my kidney. I doctor at THE Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and even they were surprised at how this stone behaved. I went through 9 months of monitoring and testing after that nasty stone and was told “even changing your diet and everything else, you will not be able to stop them from forming. You can slow them, but not stop them.” Unfortunately, my career DOES NOT allow any sort of loose stone and requires me to take time off until it passes. I was at work one day and grabbed my side, knowing that all too well pain of a stone working its way out. My partner told me about Stone Breaker and how well it worked for him. This happened back in June of this year (2024). It’s currently mid-October and waited to write this review so I could be sure this was working! I went home that night and spent 4 hours reading these reviews. I pulled the trigger and ordered the 1oz bottle as a trial on 2 day shipping. As I awaited the product, I could feel the stone moving and I knew it was only a couple more days before I’d end up in the emergency room. Luckily, the Stone Breaker arrived the next day! I immediately took a dose and within a couple hours felt a small amount of relief, but not what I thought to be “enough”. I kept on the recommended “3 times per day, 2 weeks and drink lots of water.” It was pretty easy to drink a ton of water because 1) this urges you to drink more 2) you really want the stone out. Around day 3 of taking this, I really felt nothing more and I was relieved as usually once I feel the pain, it’s around day 5 where I am down and out, in the ER prepping for surgery. Well, here I am!!! 4 months later and haven’t had to take a SINGLE DAY off work!!! NO ER, NO Surgery, NO pain. My urologist has checked in on me and I told him that I was doing good and described the product. He also seems skeptical but said, “Hey man, whatever works. Let me know if you need anything.” So far, so good. I do take it 3 times a week, every other week for maintenance (so with lunch at noon on Monday/Wednesday/Friday). I have yet to have any sort of issues. Make sure you continue to hydrate properly!! Now, the BIGGEST complaint in the taste. It’s true, it’s not the greatest. The BEST description I read in the taste was “it tastes like if you went out and pulled fresh celery right out of the ground and didn’t clean the dirt off…” That is the most accurate way to describe the taste. I like celery so for me it’s not bad at all, and to be brutally honest… even if it taste like celery with dog poop on it… I would still use it because it’s so nice to know it probably passed and I haven’t had a single clue it had. I am an extremely skeptical person, I question everything and rarely use anything that isn’t scientifically tried and true. However, I’m sooooo glad I gave this a chance. If you made it this far into reading, order it and give it a chance. Like I said, for me it took a couple days to be pain free but I could notice a difference within the first 24 hours. I really hope it works for you!!

Flavor fixed*[Now it’s a good deal]
Best thing since shortbread…(so I figured out how to get the FLAVOR of neutralized) I will put a table of dill pickle hummus, I use the boars head brand (this completely neutralizes and has been the only thing I have found that makes this palatable) to tell you the truth. It actually makes it taste good.. if that’s even possible

Its good
It was recommended by a family doctor, worked good, no issues, give it a try if you got stones.

This stuff REALLY works!
I have kidney stones and seem to get them about every 8 years or so. And indeed, I went to my GP about 3 months ago to report what I thought might be a kidney related problem, got sent for a CT scan and yep! There they were...3 of them. A 7mm, 3 and 2mm little set. Lucky me! My doc sent me to a urologist, said "He's a good guy. You'll like him" but nope, in the long run, not so much. He said I would NEVER pass the 7mm, it was too large and he needed to schedule me for surgery. I said, "Hold on. Let's discuss some other options." He said there were no other options (well, he's a surgeon so of course, for him there's NEVER another, less risky invasive option!). I told him I wanted to think about it and look at what else I might be able to do. So, being a doctor and positive that he's ALWAYS correct, he grudgingly said to keep him posted and left the room. Do these clowns have a special class they take in med school on how to be arrogant, not listen to the patient and convince themselves and others that they are absolutely positive that not one other thing will work??!? Anyhow, I bought this at Sprout's and started using as directed. Took about a week and I passed the 2 smaller ones. Thought that was a good start so for about 10 days, maybe 2 more weeks, I drank enough water to float an aircraft carrier and used this throughout the day. Then I went for a follow up xray and was told there was no sign of the smaller ones and the 7mm was now a 5mm. Then, last week I had that painful feeling that I had the worst case of cystitis ever (I had the same feeling, btw, with the 2 smaller ones but while uncomfy, I wasn't in too much pain passing them) and I thought I might have to hit my pain med that I keep on hand for my back when lo and behold! It fell out and I caught it with my little sifter! YAAAYYY I was so thrilled! I would highly recommend this and would say, don't be put off by the taste. It isn't all that bad ( sort of a celery taste ) and when weighed against an invasive procedure I think it's worth holding my breath and gulping it down. Last but not least, be sure to drink a LOT of water throughout the day, every day! Good luck to all!
