I was searching on Amazon for a decent gel pen. Previously I had been using the Pilot G2 blue bold 1.0 mm. I liked it but I wasn't crazy about it. I came across these Uniball 207 pens and started to read the reviews. Once I started to read the reviews I thought I must be confused this can't be reviews about a pen. People were actually writing about when they misplaced their pen they would have panic attacks and would frantically look for these pens until they found them. No matter how long it took. Even calling friends and relatives looking for their pens. The way people talked about these pens was like the pens could actually read their mind and flow the ink to the paper. Many of the reviews talked as though these pens held some type of mystical powers within. I was very skeptical but I figured I would give them a try. I have to say that once the pens arrived within moments I was hooked. These pens flow so easy it's incredible. Within just a few moments I found myself filling page after page with my thoughts. This pen flows so smoothly I felt as though I really had to concentrate on what I was writing to keep up with the flow of the pen. I've been retired for the past 10 years now. For the previous 20 years I owned a licensed commercial/residential contracting corporation. I've tried many pens over the years. Including expensive desk set pens. I've never come across a pen that flows so easy. There's no problem with the ink taking too long to dry and smudging across the paper at all. I purchased a box of 12 from Amazon they worked perfectly right out of the box. There was no scratch paper or scribbling necessary. These pens are a perfect writing tool. My wife who's also retired happened to see me open the box of pens. Not long after I started writing with these pens she joined in. My wife began to give me her assessment of these pens not long after. Basically she sounded like the reviews of the women that I had been reading for this pen. My wife and I I've definitely found the pen that we will be using from now on. The difference in my handwriting is amazing since using these pens. When I'm using these pens I feel as though I don't have to apply any pressure for the ink to appear on the paper. It's as if my hand is just gliding across the pad. It gives the feeling that the pen is not even making contact with the paper. That's how smooth these pens write. My wife and I both use the Uniball be 207 gel bold 1.0 mm blue. We both love these pens. Basically after 42 years of marriage the only time that we even argue anymore is if one of us has the other one's pen.

These are literally the best gel pens I’ve tried. They write smooth, don’t leak, don’t smudge very much, last a long time, and don’t do that annoying choppy writing thing where the ink skips or dries out. They aren’t that expensive for how good they are, and in my opinion they are better than almost all competing brands in the same price range.

The UNIBALL 207 pens are my favorite for journaling and sketching. My husband found these and gave them to me as a gift because I have started handwriting art as a hobby. When I saw that there was an 8 pack of various colors (including a few different blues, pink, red, etc.), I was so happy. The color pens work just as well as the usual black. They look different on various papers, but do great on my sketching paper with minimum smudging. I use them for handwriting fonts as well as coloring in doodle and sketches. The colors are very bright and they color in easily without bleeding on one another. You do have to be careful on what paper you use, because some of the papers don’t absorb the ink well and it looks like the lines skip around or are faint. Another great thing is the design of the pens. All my color ones have a white casing to distinguish them from the all black ink. The white also highlights what color ink is in the pen to help me find what I need more easily. This makes it very easy when I have them all piled together in my pen caring case or box. When I am in mid-thought I want to be able to easily grab the color I am thinking and stay in the flow of the design without breaking stride. These are perfect for that and I am grateful that every pen writes clean and crisp every time. Perfect for writers and designers alike. I would recommend these pens for someone who wants a bold look with their artwork. The pens glide easily and rarely catch on the paper. They also come in a micro size that is thinner for doing smaller and more dainty work. They are advertised to not smudge and the ink helps prevent fraud (whatever that means) as well as being resistant to fading. That will help my artwork last for a long time! SO glad my husband surprised me and I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t know that they came in colors and now I am looking for even more shades. Hopefully I can find some neon and off shades soon. After reading that these were rated as some of best gel pens for helping to prevent fraud particularly with preventing someone being able to 'wash' your check and fill in their own info I decided to try. After figuring out the completely unreported notice that the pens come with a tiny wax-like cover on the tip. I tried writing with the pens before figuring out one needs to pop that very tiny cap off. After that the pen writes well and I will continue to check it out.

I wish I found this pen years ago, because it quickly became my favorite pen of choice. I like the 1.0 bold size for writing and it's smooth writing, glides well and I can do really quality handwriting. The pen feels good in the hand and even being left handed, I don't smear the ink. The security feature with the ink that can't be remove is a fantastic feature when writing checks to pay bills. I feel safer writing checks when I know the ink can't be removed and the amount paid changed. I found out about these great 207 pens by watching a Youtube video by a fraud prevention expert and had to give them a try. I liked the pens so much, I've purchased a few boxes now in blue and black. 5 Stars for this great product and I highly recommend them!

What i like most about these pens, it's really hard to get off paper without ruining the paper. Making them perfect for writings checks. They are pleasing to the eye, well made from quality materials and last for a long time.

These are incredible pens. I was recommended these by a coworker and I don't think I'd ever switch to anything else. These are my only go-to writing utensils. That being said, they're noticeably more expensive than other name-brand pens, but with how they write and feel in my hands, it's always worth the extra cost. I highly recommend these to other picky pen users like myself. The pens themselves feel great in the hand, come in multiple different colours, and do quite well on different types of paper. I find the ink does dry quickly if writing at a normal pace however, can smudge if using slow strokes. Overall a very good option for all of your writing needs.

I have very small writing and do a lot of it, so I need a pen that writes finely but clearly and without leakage. The Uni-Ball 207 0.5mm rollerball gel pens are the only retractable pens I have had that meet these criteria. I tried getting other cheaper pens to save a few dollars and they either quit writing, leaked or both within a few days so I am back to my Uni-Ball pens and very happy. These are pretty fail-proof so if you really want a good reliable pen, these are a safe bet. The only issue I have ever had is if I left them in a checked bag while flying as they might leak a bit due to the pressure changes, so either don't leave them in your checked bag, or at least make sure they're well contained and not beside your good suit! :-)

These are my favourite pens...not too fine a point and the ink flows easily making it easier to write.
