Q: Will these work for a sram x4 3x8 speed?

Sent them back parts missing and shifting gears on one was working..

Q: Does this 3x8 shifter work on a 3x7 Tourney derailleur? (3x7 version is all sold out). Is the cable pull ratio the same?

If you look closely at the amazon depiction one of the shifters is 8 positions the other is 3. If you buy and replace don't use position 8 and all will be Ok.

Q: Will this work on 6-speed gear?

You could adjust the rear derailleur to shift to all gears. Will require setting up so two shifts will in essence do nothing. Honestly I would search for a 7 speed or six speed Shimano Revo twist shifter. My view a better option
