First Little Readers: Guided Reading Levels E & F (Classroom Set): A Big Collection of Just-Right Leveled Books for Growing Readers

Students can't get enough of these little books. Perfect for guided-reading groups or independent reading time. It is hard to find books for new readers and these fit the bill. Great picture support and easy text. Plus actual plots and a teaching guide with fun follow-up reproducibles. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is cheating, as a lot of the booklets were repetative copies, of the total of 80 booklets, we actually only have 16 copies, the rest of them were all repetative copies. This need to be dealt with. Deleting my review and rejecting my reviews to be posted is not a responsible response.

My sons teacher loved the books. Books are a bit small though.

Great kit for the classroom.

This is a great value for the money. You get 8 Level E books and 8 Level F books. The teaching guide has comprehension questions you can ask at the end of every book, as well as cute writing response activities to go with the books. The teachers guide looked a little banged up when it arrived in the box. Not the nicest quality in the world, but I’m not complaining too much for the low price tag. The books themselves have sewn bindings, so I don’t know how long they will last in the hands of kiddos. I noticed from another person’s review that the book “The Queen’s New Cat” has a grammatical error on page 4. My copies do as well. Because of that and the sewing of the books, this kit is 4 out of 5 stars for me.
