Will this keep the water out during a shower? Recently got a cartilage piercing that I want to keep as dry as possible.

I purchased these because I had an infection in my mastoid and needed to keep the ear dry. I did not find these to work as well as I thought they would. The elastic is not as tight as I thought it would be. I found putting cotton in my ear worked better. Again, this is for the condition I had.

Hi, I think they should help. I fasten them with a little paper tape when I use them. Hope that helps.

Great value for money

No more do I need to worry about getting hair colouring on my ears nor indeed water in the ear itself. These fit beautifully and certainly do the job that they are supposed to

Keeping the Eardrum Dry

If you are buying these, chances are you NEED to have your ears dry. These are small to ensure that they remain water tight. Your ear will fit, just a little cramped or maybe folded. They are mostly efficient at keeping water out. The only weak spot is against the head. I wore two of these and one drop made it through. Not the end of the world, but if you need to keep water out of your inner ear you MUST stuff it with COTTONBALLS. Those will help you the most, and serve as a last defense.
