By loosening the fitting that secures the handle to the paddle, the handle may be swiveled & positioned over the paddle to take up less space when stored. This Pizza Paddle is convenient both in the kitchen and for BBQ Picnics the folding handle makes for much easier storage and transportation. I’d have preferred a smaller paddle, but to be honest this one does everything I need. There are very few paddles with folding handles I believe this the best of them.

Hi, I purchased this product to help me slide pizza onto my ceramic oven stone. To get the best pizza results I like to preheat my stone in the oven on 470 and then slide the pizza on directly. This is the best tool for the job! Its all stainless steal, the lever is foldable, and its small enough to fit in my lower cabinet(upright of course). I would highly recommend this product it feels like a high quality appliance in hand. I would recommend putting a generous layer of cornmeal or flour before you lay down your pizza dough and wiggle it around to make sure it can easily slide off. So happy with the results!
