i'm a single mom in a old co-op 1st time it is just the 2 of us. i found Flex Shot worked really, really well for me. I found it much easier to control than regular caulk. I have always done home improvements with father,brother , husband. this time I took care of all the drafts, changing faucets, bathroom (caulking toilet,tub , shower,window). I even took the extra bathroom flooring and did all my closets even though it was peel and stick I used the Flex Shot on the boarder and went up about 4" on the wall and it worked great. The smell is like vinegar but it does go away and any big gaps in caulking I made a couple of passes. I also did my kitchen pulled out the old caulking around the back splash than painted the walls around that the paint took well and I got great straight lines. I do find it a little loser than regular caulk but I just go a little slower until I get the feel and control and it goes pretty fast. When I make a mistake (like it smears) I let it dry and just cut in with a blade works great. Don't try to rub it, it spreads like crazy but once it is dry it peels right off. I'm buying more now...doing my radiator covers and caulking around them with Flex. It expand and contracts so well there should be no cracking. I hv seen it as cheap as $17 for 2 bottles on Amazon and it does last a long time I've done alot with only 3 cans. I would suggest to go slow until u get a feel on how it goes like i said it is lose and I didn't hv to apply to much pressure to get it out of the can. I found if I pushed to hard to much came out and it got all over the place. Good luck.

This rubberized caulk is a game changer for me. I have used this on our camper to seal a seam. I used it on our back deck to prevent rain from coming in. I just recently used it when putting up LED lights on my house. The lights are self adhesive with anchors (placed about 40" apart). When turning a corner or there is no contact between lights & siding I filled in with this clear caulk. NO caulking GUN required is awesome, great control, ease of use, will never use another kind of caulk again.

Had a leak between backyard concrete and add-on room slab. Started to rot out a few laminated pieces of flooring. Used the Flex Shot to plug all the possible leak areas over several feet. Stuck well to the concrete. Used masking tape on both sides of the application so I could use my finger to create a nice, rounded seal. The clear is really clear, making for an excellent repair. I'll definitely purchase again for any water leak.

Wish it was a bigger can this stuff went fast but is still holding up 6 months later so I would give this product 4 stars

This is a miracle product. Used it to fill in a crack along our neighbors driveway edge that allowed excess rain water to pour into our side yard. The crack was about six inches high, one inch wide and three inches in depth. The sealant filled the crack and didn’t run back out. The caulk sealed the opening. With a little paper towel wiping, the outside exposed edges could be wiped to a smooth finish before it set. Problem solved.

Deceptive advertisment, Says flex shot but you get some crummy silicone not rubber flex shot

After dealing with a repeated leak on my deck roof, I broke down and tried this. The claims they make about their product are accurate - I had no problems with the areas sealed using this caulk. Sadly, the truth is I bought this because the brand we (as construction professionals) would have used was sold out at our local suppliers. So this works and it works very well, but you can get its equivalent for less than half the price made by a long-time construction adhesive and sealant company at any of the big box chain stores specializing in home repair and construction goods.
