How long does it takes to get dried?

It does not take very long but I like to leave it a couple hours to get good and dry before applying paint...

Does this dry more than your impasto medium? Im trying to build consistently heavy textured relief painting with 1-2in of thickness and want the depth

Hi there, Our Impasto is designed to help thicken paint and retain brushstrokes. It can also be used as a paint extender. It tends to dry relatively flexible. Modeling Paste is ideal for building up layers as it dries hard. To achieve the thickness you are after we’d suggest building it up in consecutive layers, at least four layers, allowing each to dry before applying the next. This is to help prevent cracking as modeling paste may crack if applied too thickly all at once. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process of the first three layers. We recommend allowing the last layer to dry naturally to minimise the chance of any cracks forming in the final layer. Hope this helps.

Nice consistency, Easy to work with. 4 stars because the first order was busted when it came, had to reorder product. It was deliver just in a large envelope, which caused the top to bust open in transit.

So nice to work with - buttery smooth & creamy. I use it in my mixed media & papercrafting & a little goes a long way. I've had it 3 years & I've maybe used 1/4 of it. It's well packaged, as well, because it shows no signs of drying out at all. I love it & I highly recommend it.
