Orbit 10360 Flex Cobra Spray Mister for Cooling

I’ve been cautiously and slowly trying to get a tan and this is a GAME CHANGER. I’m up to 30 minutes/side laying out and it is HOT. It’s crazy how well this works to cool you down. I actually enjoyed being out in the heat with this, it made the heat tolerable and it’s 101 degrees where I am. It’s very sturdy and you can position it however you like. It’s a great value too. The size is great for adjustability purposes. I position it in the middle of my tanning chair and the mist reaches all of me. I highly recommend it. It comes with an additional flower shaped nozzle that is not a mist but would be great for watering plants. And I’m sure I’ll use it for plant watering so that is an added bonus.

These are really great standing misters that you can also coil around posts and tree trunks. The mist is fine so there isn't a lot of water waste, especially here in north Texas. LOVE, LOVE, the pine green color. The ad photo shows blue like the first one I received a few years ago, but this is way better for a naturalized landscape. When I started noticing that butterflies like to play in the mist too, I couldn't wait to get another to go in the pollinator garden where they also feed. So much joy! If you have hard water with calcium and/or iron, be sure to remove the mister from the hose periodically and soak the ends of the hose and the mister in some hydrogen peroxide, or what ever works for you, and soak the three misting nozzles too. This will keep your mister usable for many years to come! I had one become permanently attached to a hose, so don't do what I did.

Was looking to keep our horses cool without using an excessive amount of water (we are on a well). I usually hose them down in really hot weather or put a pasture sprinkler out, both use more water than I would like or just don't keep them cool long enough. With the horrible heat wave we have been having I decided to trying this misting hose. The horses love it and it uses a lot less water than alternatives. I mounted it in the barn by wrapping it around one of the stall door window bars in an angle that allowed the wall mounted barn fans to hit it. Both horses wait for me to put it up each day (I take it down when not using so our young thoroughbred is not tempted to chew it) and both horses line up in the mist to stay cool. And, both realized they can stand in their stalls and have the mist hit their heads and chests. It really helps our senior horse as well as the feisty young thoroughbred and the barn cats also love it as, with the fan, it brings the whole barn temp down.

We only just tried this out today but it worked immediately after hook up and works as described.

Love the mister, size is convenient and easy to use however the mist attachment has a small crack where the water shoots out like a rocket. Not ideal to constantly move or adjust to avoid water stream. Can be seen in photo.

This thing has been a life saver in the horrible heat waves we have been dealing with this past summer. I don't always want to spend the whole day inside but when it is 98° outside and oppressively humid, I also don't want to be outside, either. This thing allowed me to enjoy being outside without roasting to death. It really does stand up on its own, which I was shocked by, and it can be positioned however you want to get the mist on you. One thing I will note is that you WILL get wet. Not dewy, not lightly damp, actually wet. If you use it for more than a few minutes, you will be as wet as if you had just turned the hose on yourself. So if you are trying to use this with your electronics nearby, make sure to point it away from those, or they will get soaked. It is less noticeable than if you just stood in front of the hose bc the water does come out as a mist, but you do get fully wet. That being said, it is much more pleasant and comfortable than just standing in front of the hose and the spray covers more area than just a hose. I highly recommend it if you want to be outside but don't want to roast.

We bought this to help keep our chickens cool in the Oklahoma summer heat. It's been over 100 degrees for weeks with no end in sight. I love that it doesn't use up a ton of water and the chickens are actually using it everyday. Well worth the money!

Really disappointed with this for the price, I bought the extra adapter for the uk but the end that attaches but leaks! The blue bit just moves round and round and leaks water, so the spray does come out but you have a puddle of water where the base is sat due to the leaking :( if anyone can shed any light I would be most grateful 🙏 I wanted this for the dogs when it’s hot

Missing a nozzle and I can’t find a replacement. It’s not usable without it.

Disappointed. Great concept. Was excited about this one, but it leaks at the bottom adopter. I’ve tried multiple connections & the same things happens. Cheaply made. Don’t waste your money on this brand

This works great and provides excellent relief on super hot days. I’ll sit just to the side of it and it becomes bearable to sit outside. Otherwise I leave it directed at my huge retaining wall and the cement blocks definitely don’t get as hot which otherwise just increase the temp in my enclosed yard.
