They state that their medical honey is sterilized. This means that it is heated to extreme temperatures. I don’t think this honey is raw.

Does does the manuca honey do that the regular honey or from the usa does not do? also why such a price differrence on the manuca. i saw 30.00 to 200.

usually the price difference is based on the quality and supply-demand. quality is measured by many factors, but mostly based on the type of UMF "factor" is a guarantee that it's "medicinal" quality. Think of the price difference compared to wine- type of grape, quality of grape, supply fluctuates based on many factors including weather that impacted the vine. These are just a few factors, not including type of bee, type of flowers the bee fed on.... I do recommend looking up what all the acronyms mean. Low numbers can be the difference between drinking honey (stuff you want to use in tea and not waste the good Manuka on) and the stuff you want to guard like a good bottle of wine.

Is this in a plastic or glass jar?

Comvita Manuka Honey is sold in PET plastic jars that do not contain BPA (Bisphenol A) or BPS (Bisphenol-S).

Has any used this on their face for acne scars?

Good honey

It has a nice texture and is lighter than other manuka honey. But overall okay

Taste, texture and quality are superior.

This is a pricey product. That given, the taste, texture and quality are superior to similar New Zealand UMF rated honey we have tried. After sampling several we decided to go with a UMF of 5 vs.10 on the idea that with the less expensive 5 UMF honey we would be able to enjoy it more often, in greater quantity and to a greater positive health benefit. As for the reputed health benefits I cannot say with certainty, although this has much to do with my reasoning in justifying my spending for this product. All that aside, as a honey, it is very good.
