I'm kind of a pen snob at times. I hate ball point pens, I despite thick, bold tips, and I need something comfortable to hold when writing by hand. I have quite a few favorites - Uniball's gel pen, TUL pens (which are amazing), Pentel's ultra-fine-points, etc, but these pens have quickly risen there way up to my "must haves."A couple of reasons. I like writing in small spaces - my planners (I use Erin Condren hourly, mostly, with some Happy Planners), and I put a lot of information in there. Small pen tips are a *must*. I need 0.5mm or smaller. The biggest issue with these pens is that their tips get clogged very easily, due to how small they are, and I lose my smooth writing ability. The Inkjoys do not appear to have these issues (most gel points don't, I've found). But gels do have a big negative - sometimes they take looooong to dry. So if I'm not careful, I get streaks and transfers. The Inkjoys seem to dry fairly quickly as well, which is impressive. They are most similar to the TULs that I just absolutely love so much, but come in more colors and have a more comfortable grip (plus is available at Amazon with Prime shipping :-) ). Definitely worth a try for planner/stationary geekery fans!

These pens are everything I hoped they'd be & more!I've suffered a health condition over the past 2 years that initially caused temporary paralysis & has left me with continued nerve pain and cramping in my hands & feet. My writing has improved but is still nearly illegible at times.The gel ink of the Ink Joy pens provides a consistently smooth writing experience while the fine point keeps my handwriting more precise & legible than a typical medium point pen. Unlike many pens specifically advertised for comfort, the Ink Joy's barrel design makes it suitable for almost any style of writer. (For example, I hold writing instruments at a 90 degree angle & 1-2cm higher up the barrel than "normal". This pen doesn't have a protruding grip that forces the writer to hold it in a certain manner.)Whatever your writing style, I am of the opinion that the Paper mate Ink Joy pens will indeed provide a joyful writing experience! (This particular set also offers some beautiful, less common colors.) Happy writing!

I bought this pen for writing in my planner for school. All of the colors are really pretty and the tips are pretty fine, which is good for writing in the small boxes on my planner. I was also really impressed by the fact that the ink from these pens dried really quickly (which is useful because as a left handed person it’s hard for me to find pens that won’t smear from my hand as I’m writing).I only have 2 complaints about these pens. The first one is that they were kind of expensive, but I guess that’s the price you have to pay for a high quality pen. My second complaint is that I used the black ink joy gel pen for taking notes and it ran out of ink so quickly! It didn’t even last me the whole semester and normally I feel like my pens last a lot longer than that. However, all of the other colors still have a lot of ink left. These complaints are minor though, and I would still buy these pens again.Overall, I was very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy more Papermate products in the future.

I write in a 5-year diary and these very fine pens work nicely for that purpose, or anywhere when extra-fine lines are desirable. Ink flows smoothly....I wish refills were available for favorite colors.

This was delivered to my garage. I didn’t notice it and gave a negative review because I didn’t see it. They are very good for lefties. Fast drying so no hand smudging

They dry pretty fast

UPDATE : eventually more than one pen stopped working and they were brand new! I finally decided to return them. Not worth the price!One of my pens stopped writing not even a week after receiving it and some of them write and stop. Very deceived for the price
